	I'm really not on this site much and what I had written is pretty old, so here's a quick update: - I am around more frequently on the other site (FL) - My passion is rope, to the extent that I've been making my own (spinning it from yarn) for the past three years as a hobby business (Renaissance Rope) - My earliest memory of interest with bondage was tying up the babysitter - I am a professional geek by day - There are usually about 1000 different projects that I'm tinkering on - I found my way to the local BDSM scene via way of the swingers scene My original profile text was: Seeing a woman restrained by rope is one of the most erotic sights I know. I enjoy talking with interesting people - everyone seems to have a story to tell, and I've heard some amazing ones while talking with the most random people. I'm looking for kinky women to either play or practice with. My passion is rope - I love its versatility, feel, and the look of the female form restrained. On occasion I also do some tutoring on the basics of rope bondage. I've been active in the local BDSM community since about 2002 and can be found at the Wednesday munch quite frequently. I'm part of the performers or dungeon staff at most of the regular fetish nights in town. I am open to exploring relationship possibilities with select women. I am not monogamous and am probably best considered poly. (I do not fall in love easily, and have high ethical standards for the people closest to me.) I'm back from my weekend in Chicago for Shibaricon. It was fun running into old friends, but once again I'm on the fence as to whether to go back next year. I do need to find some playtime soon to practice a few of the new techniques I picked up....

New photos - I finally found a couple hours to sort thru photos and have posted them on my MySpace and here. Unfortunately, only one photo was approved on this site.

It also appears that there is no way to change the order of the photos here without reuploading them?

Had a very good weekend at KinkFest - was great seeing everyone who made it. I've also started making my own rope (twisting it from twine), and had my IPO this weekend which went very well.

I'm going to be teaching a workshop on Rope Bondage for the Portland Leather Alliance on Feb 17th from 2pm to 4pm at the Jupiter Hotel's Dream Box room (800 E Burnside). This is the same day as fetish night. The workshop will cost $5 for PLA members or $10 for non-members.

We'll start with the basics and then show how to use those as the building blocks for other ties. The workshop will be hands-on, so try to bring someone to practice with (or come and meet someone new). If you already have rope, then please bring it. I will also have my rope available so that everyone can try the different types of rope and participate in the workshop.

My style tends to emphasize what works, what's simple, and what still looks good. I've been active in the Portland scene since KinkFest 2002, have been to ShibariCon, am part of the dungeon staff at DeaconX's Fetish Night, and just in general love rope.

The PLA will also be hosting a meet and greet at the Doug Fir (across the parking lot) from noon to 1:45pm for those who have not been to a kinky event before. They will be able to answer questions about the workshop, KinkFest, or the local kink community. Just ask for the welcome group at the front desk.
