The past work week has been *awful*, which has put me in the mood for some retail therapy. I wish there was some sort of wish list functionality here. Yet more stuff to consider for purchase:

I'm still amazed at how open and welcoming people seem to be here. Already, I've received several phone numbers, which I find both worrisome and amazing. Personally, I wouldn't give out my number just like that. But so far, I've been fortunate enough to hear from seemingly decent people ;) I've been an irc geek for a long time, and while irc also provides a heightened level of anonymity, people have definitely never been this open... you sense the feeling is almost like finding a gold nugget when one finds another local that shares the same interest, and they are unabashed about not being able to wait to get to know you.

I met my first fellow CM user today, which was actually a lot of fun, and really quite spur of the moment. I was a bit nervous because I'd never really done anything like that before (not that quickly, at least), but it turned out that we both have no desire to be axe murderers. I like it when the people involved are on the same page. :) Two firsts today. I love a good adventure.

It hasn't been 24 hours since I joined CM and already I am pleasantly overwhelmed by the number of welcome messages I'm receiving. Thank you, all. I used to hang out at but it was nowhere this active nor personal.

It seems that the main difference between CM and is that people here are more serious about their business in terms of finding a partner they can be adventurous or share the lifestyle with, whereas is a lot more about socializing. One of the users here provided an analogy of it being like match.com vs. facebook. I'm not quite sure I'm looking for a relationship just yet, but I would love to get to know people and just see where we go from there.
