I've been into control for as long as I can remember, so the transition to D&S, and the kink scene in general, was a pretty easy one upon discovering it. I've met more than a few wonderful people on here so far, and hope that this trend continues.
As for Me, I'm a 40-year old Dominant living in the Torrance (South Bay) area. I am continuously discovering new things about the lifestyle and involve myself with the community whenever possible.
I am becoming more accustomed to casual play as I grow within the scene. However, at the end of the day, I'm here for the lifestyle more than the SM aspects of BDSM. What I am into is pretty much spelled out in my interests.
I am polite and respect one's limits, but I believe there should also be an innate desire to continuously explore and try new things. I would not call myself a sadist, but I definitely have My more "evil" moments (I'm also prone to really random tangents and observations of life and the discussion of the human condition, so bear with me, lol).
While physical bondage is great, as someone who has always had a deep interest in psychology, the mental aspects of submission are profoundly more significant to me. The brain truly is the ultimate erogenous zone, and I believe that imagination is the most powerful means of seduction for a Dom. Great and dark things that can be acomplished just by using one's voice alone. Anyone can work with knots and restraints, but really conditioning a person's mindset to a constant state of subserviance is truly an art, and it is an art I am delighted to explore.
