I know this isn't the place were one would normally post things like this but I have so many dear friends on CM and not up to mailing each one, please forgive me. My youngest son, John passed away today. He was 28 years old, single, a second grade teacher. He went to a party last night and was found this morning slumped over in his truck, dead. They think it was mostly alcohol poisoning but don't know yet. Please every one hug those you love a little tighter and never miss the chance to say I love you. In the blink of an eye, it could all be gone.... |

My Little Man of 11 years just passed away...I don't think I have ever felt such grief. He was a recused dog that I got 7 years ago. Wasn't a night he didn't nuzzle his little face into the curve of my neck and go to sleep. He passed away curled up to me, we should all be so lucky to leave this world laying next to the one who loved us the most. |

Went to doctor on Friday (10-8-10), almost 50 pounds gone, starting to feel good! Who knew I could enjoy walking...LOL |

Surgery is done and over, recovery is slow and painful. On the upside I have not needed insulin in over a week (after almst 30 years of being on it), no blood pressure meds in 2 weeks and have dropped 11 pounds! |

Did my pre-op appointment today, got x-rays, EKG, blood work, etc...9 days till surgery and counting down! I go from being scared to excited back to scared~smiles~ |

Some things I need clear up
1. I do not want a male submissive, I am a sub wtf would I do with another one...geeeez
2. Prefer a man, than means at 45 , rather 50 or over, but not dead.
3. No I will not "control: your sub when you are out of town...I an NOT a switch!
4. Married men forget, not future in screwing around with one, have a thing about angry wives coming after me with sharp or loaded objects.
5. If you do not smoke I will not smoke at your house but IF you get invited to my house, deal with. |

I am going in the hospital in hopefully in a couple of months for Roux-en-Y Gastric Bypass surgery. There is a 90% chance it will end my insulin use. I am up to 7 shots a day so I am very hopefully it will work. So far I have lost about 60 pounds on my own in about a year's time. Losing weight is simply a bonus, getting rid of diabetes, high blood pressure, sleep apnea, etc...is worth it alone! Got the blood work all done, go for the pysc evaluation this Friday and then all that is left is going to the dietitian. Once all that paperwork is done the surgeon said I could have surgery within 6 weeks. He will do it laparoscopicly so no big incision, should only be in the hospital over night. First time in a long time I have felt excited about something!!!! |
