A little bit about my style. I'm not into the whips and wax so much, although I do enjoy that sort of thing sometimes. But mostly, I like domination. Domination is like cracking a safe. I read a story in a book once about a thief who was trying to crack a safe, but couldn't get it open. He tried all the tricks he knew but they just didn't work, so finally he got some dynamite and blew the safe to pieces. Problem was, in doing so, he destroyed all the money inside the safe. The author said that he hadn't beat the safe - the safe beat him, because even though he broke it open he destroyed the valuables in the process.
For me, the parallels to domination are extensive. First of all, the objects I find most valuable are usually, though not always, in tougher safes. Secondly, dynamiting the safe doesn't do any good. Anyone can chain someone up and whip them until they give in. If you're willing to go far enough, you can break down anyone's resistance... but I don't want a broken sub. I want a woman with fire and passion, and I want to make that woman mine. I want to take a tough, bratty girl and make her obey me without killing the spitfire attitude that attracts me to her. I don't ask for control to be handed to me, I prefer to take it myself.
Sure, dynamite is easier. It's faster. Gets the job done right away. But when I want what's inside, I'd rather take the time to do the job right. It can take a long time, but it's an art in and of itself. Deciphering the combination, working the lockpicks in, painstakingly getting it open inch by inch. And then, once you're inside, you've got complete control - not of the ruined mess that dynamite leaves behind, but of the intact treasure inside. That's what I love. I always beat the safe, and I'm always up to try a tougher one next.
