The knee has healed well, getting back to a normal routine. I've actually been able to do most of my gardening and yard work without much assistance. Spring and Summer are my favorite seasons, I love being out playing in the dirt and making things grow!! |

Eight weeks post-op tomorrow, had my last PT session Monday all is well...still not 100% but 100% better than before surgery. I'm able to drive short distances ..still stretching out the ligaments and tendons trying to loosen them up some and working on stretching all the quad muscles and hip flexors.
Not only did they do a total knee replacement I found out they realigned my joint and leg. Now that everything is back where it should be my body is readjusting to being in proper alignment and I have to do extra work on the upper leg and hip muscles. All is well though and coming along nicely. |

3 weeks post-op update. I am walking without assistive devices, going up and down the stairs normally but very slowly. Out patient PT is a bitch but so worth it. |

Day four post-op: I'm up and walking and doing the stairs. Not much pain now just very stiff and still swollen. I got in the shower for the first time in 5 days !!!! |

My total knee replacement surgery went well Friday , I am Home now recuperating . I will not be attending any holiday festivities. Those that know me know I do not make a good patient so if I don't get back to you for a while this is why. For the next few days I will be pretty much in bed in a codeine coma LOL. |
