found an old poem of Mine and figured I would put it up here and see if I get any comments on it lol
The Darkness
I can hear it’s echo’s in the night
It whispers sweet nothings in my ear
It calls to me as I sleep luring me into the night
The darkness sings to me like a siren
Drawling me into its depths
I follow like a moth to flames
Forging on deeper into the never ending darkness
Its music leading me like a lighthouse in the distance
Slowly it fades as silence descends
The sound of a single heart beating
Its rhythmic pounding like music to my ears
I start to follow its sweet sound
Mouth growing wetter with every step
My tongue tingles as thoughts rush across the passages of my mind
Finally its with in sight
Even in the darkness it can not hide
Slowly stalking my pray like the animal I am
Helpless and unaware the creature staggers
Going about its pointless existence
Unaware its life will shortly end
In a moment all becomes a blur
Senses give way to instinct
Hunger gives way to lust
And lust gives way to passion
Soon flesh breaks as teeth and claws rend
The sweet red liquid
The nectar of the gods
The music slowly fades again
The beating of her heart coming to an end
Darkness is all that remains
As I stand covered in a blanked of red sweetness my mind races
I hear its song once more
It’s the darkness whispering again
Singing praise of my deed
Singing of my glory
Of the hunt
It is only then I realize
As the song lures me back to my bed
This is my darkness
