If you're cool and you think we're cool, we shouldn't be writing emails on here forever. We use IMing software and inevitably, writing emails just gets tedious. I'm not attached enough to anyone, to feel that I would obsessively need to write messages. IMing offers a natural fluidness of conversation, where things can be said back and forth, rather than reading/writing something being a huge endeavor.
