Perhaps I have some confusion as to the definition of a mentor, but it seems Doms vary in their definition. With some, it is strictly mental, others include training in the definition. Whichever definition you use, honesty and clear communication is a must. As a new sub I enjoy collecting information and opinions from a number of Doms, but I have heard this is not permitted by most Doms once training has begun, even if it is not in the context of a relationship. I am just trying to learn from a variety of resources, so why the objection?
