For those of you who are looking for a Daddy Dom, I'm somewhat curious: what does that MEAN exactly?

If you haven't figured out from the tone of this already, I'm not really much into being a daddy dom. It just seems weird and incestuous at first glance to me, though I know that probably isn't the case. Would someone mind explaining this to me as to what they think it means? I'm curious.

Quickie update: I know I haven't been that active on here and haven't been the greatest about responding to messages, but please, be patient... I'm now back at college and being a full time student, in addition to volunteer art classes as a teacher and a long list of other stuffs. I will try to be as prompt as I can. Although something else that I also have a bit of a question with... what's with the dominants looking for other dominants to play with in what they're looking for in their profiles? Updated Q&A Questions i take seriously: What are you looking for in a sub/slave? This is a tough one. I can't really say that I'm particularly picky, however I can definitely say that a pretty face won't impress me at this point. It certainly helps, but please be prepared to express personality please :P What color are your eyes? Hazel-green, sometimes gold-ish in the right lighting. Is your hair still long? Yes, and I plan to keep it that way for a while. My facial hair (occasionally a mustache/goatee) is variable depending on when you contact me. What sort of experience do you have? I have had only a handful of sessions and at the moment no serious D/s relationship as of yet, though I'm keeping my eyes open, and my creativity does help with this. What is the difference to you between a submissive and a slave? This really is a tough one, but I'll give it my best go. -All in all, I think that the main difference, at least in my own opinion, is the degree of permanence to which the different labels are given. When you have a one-night-stand, both parties are nothing to one another in D/s terms, even if they may have played in a D/s style. If they're not planning on making anything out of it, then I don't think "master" should apply any more than "sub" or "slave" in that case. -However if that becomes a steady thing, THEN I would call the submissive member of the relationship a "sub," and to me is kinda akin to dating. There's no promise of permanence, but it is still meaningful and could very well lead to such permanence. -Which brings us to "slave," where the submissive in the relationship is collared (whether figuratively or literally) and has a much more permanent feel. I'm not quite sure I'd put this quite on the same level as "married" depending on the length of the relationship, but to me is sorta like being engaged. -That's my take on it at least. I'm interested in hearing other input on the matter, however. What are you going to school for? I am currently majoring in animation and sound design, so I can be a bit of a dork at times, obviously. Well this has been an interesting week. I got a one-liner message from someone who doesn't even have a profile and there was no name for whatever reason. What was the line? "ru a fury" Definitely something worthy of my "wtf" face. This told me a few things: one, they obviously didn't read my profile, as I've stated that I don't like leet speak OR one-liners, in addition to the fact that they don't make sure what they said actually made sense... I'm not really sure what a "fury" is... maybe something out of a video game club or something, who knows. But if, mr/ms/mrs anonymous, you meant "furry," then no, I'm not. I respect it as another fetish, but have no interest in participating in conventions or anything of that ilk, thank you. Another strange thing that happened was I was coasting through some profiles, and I noticed that nearly all of the submissive women my age only want older "experienced" doms. And, not complaining here obviously, as of course everyone wants a partner that knows what they're doing, the whole sex with a virgin thing, etc etc. But as a Dom in training, I have to admit it's slightly frustrating, and while I do have someone that's giving me advice and helping me out (you know who you are, this isn't aimed at you :P) I'd like to expand my boundaries a little bit with some more people at some point in the future, and at the moment it seems like very few subs are interested in experimentation. Is this just my own bubble of a view or have other people had the same experience?
