I am still amazed at how a year can bring so many changes in my life. At this point last year I was about finished packing up my house in Delaware and preparing to me back to California. I had just started talking to my future Master here 2 weeks prior and was looking forward to meeting him. We are now about to get married in less than 2 weeks, which will make it just a year that we met! I wish everyone such happiness.

It is a week since we had our beautiful wedding ceremony surrounded by our loved ones. We are busy settling into a busy life and adjusting to combined families and prior responsibilities. With love, respect and commitment we will have a wonderful life ahead of us.

Our relationship has progressed to the next step, as we have set a wedding date :) We discussed also having a collaring ceremony some time, separately. See? Good things CAN happen from Collarme contacts! Just be honest and true to yourself and you will find others that are the same. ?

This is getting interesting! Not only are we working at getting his house ready to host Passover, we have embarked on a weight loss program together! (silly timing perhaps? lol). Those who diet together stay together? It sure is a lot better than trying to do it on one's own, and since we both like to cook, it has the potential of being really good. Certainly a good bonding factor to add to what we already have going.

Our lives continue to mesh more and more. We are in the process of planning a joint Passover seder with his children and at least one of mine, along with more of my extended family. This will be at His house. This could be the first of many holidays spent with both our families. Ok, so not very D/s :) but it sure is nice. And besides, at the seder He will be truly the Master of the house, leading the service!

I am truly feeling "claimed" as His. We have become very close and are looking forward to a future together.? This past year has been an interesting journey as my past life living in the East has closed, and the new chapter has opened. The rest of the book is to be written. Stay tuned :)

Although I have finally moved into my own place in Ventura, I still am growing deeper in my relationship with my Master. Our lives are meshing more and more and at this point, i can only see it continuing on this path.?

As I take stock of my past year, I am astounded, and so grateful, at all the changes that have happened in my life. Retired, removed myself from an unhealthy relationship, moved across country to be closer to family,? rediscovered the importance of my heritage, and found a wonderful Dominant, thanks to collarme. We have been seeing each other about a month, and our relationship grows richer. Who knows what will happen down the line, as it is still new, but it is feeling so good and right. It is always an interesting phenomena to observe how a relationship can grow and change as the people get to know each other better, learn about each other's quirks, interests, needs and make the decisions on how to adapt, compromise, communicate and merge 2 adults into something unique.

So, as one door is closed, others DO open. My move to California has been overflowing with all kinds of changes, including meeting a very special Dominant. As we continue to get to know each other better, our relationship grows deeper. This is still early, but life is looking better by the day.?
