Classic signs of fake profiles and fake people:

1. won't chat on the phone, but prefer to chat on yahoo or some other bs messaging. if after a few messages there is a non willingness to talk on the phone, red flags abound! Nobody is talking phone sex here, i just want to hear your voice, have a REAL CONVERSATION rather than waste months trying to meet and blah blah blah. If we are adults, this should NOT be a problem. 

2. is on ALLLLLLLLL THE TIMEEEEEEEE nobody has that much time. You are either a robot or a fraud.

3. has only ONE PHOTO. Real people who want to meet other REAL PEOPLE usually have a couple of photos. You don't have to have a face photo, but we are all adult enough by now to know a FAKE photo or a PHOTO SHOP one from an authentic one.

4. Profile reads like a generic catalog or a copy and paste nightmare. Misspellings, phrases that don't make sense....clear signs of phonies.

at the end of the day, the people who are REAL on here want the same thing. a connection with someone who is like minded. if both parties are on the same page, that should be clearly definable early on in the relationship. Unfortunately, the more i am on here, the more i see that this site is filled with fraudsters who seek to deceive and dupe. 

as for the FINDOM's on here - if that is your thing, and you are upfront about it - that's cool. DO YOUR THING. I get it. Money = power. If a guy is dumb enough to give you their money, and does it willingly, who am i to judge you. And if you are a guy who has the money to do that, by all means, have at it. Hopefully you aren't taking money out of your children's mouths. I'd rather have a connection with someone that is deeper than superficial satisfaction.
