My views on Long Distance Relationships. 

If you live more than an hour away then you are long distance.

If you live far away but you are just passing through occasionally on businesss, then that is long distance.

If your area code prefix doesn't match mine, then that is long distance.

If you match any of the above.. I'm NOT interested!

Frustration has set in and I am considering how futile my efforts are to be here.  I'm distrustful and cynical and that isn't encouraging for any potential relationships either.  The saddest part is that I'm  lonely and tired of being alone, but neither am I willing to compromise what I want, nor to allow someone close enough to get past the defenses. However, those who have made the effort to get to know me and earn my trust are wonderful friends and play partners. There is just something missing.
