I am pretty new to the lifestyle/community aspect of this, but not at all new to the D/s relationship dynamic. You can attribute my need for control to upbringing, education/experience as a project manager, DNA, whatever you want...Hell, I don't even know where it comes from. I enjoy being in charge but consider myself a fair an understanding person.
However, I am also a very laid-back, caring and (I like to think) fun person to be around. I have on occasion been told that I don't take things as seriously as I should. I've developed a philosophy about that: If a situation doesn't affect mine or my family/friends lives in a significant way then I really don't care.
I also have a very sarcastic, dry sense of humor. Movies like "The Royal Tennenbaums" I find hilarious. However, some people mistake this for me being an asshole. :) That all being said, I'd really like to meet some new friends and possible playmates for the future!
