I am Dominant... and, like you, I am tired of the games that people play on sites like this, and I simply want someone to be upfront about who they are and what they want!

I have been practicing BDSM in various forms for many years before I knew what it was. I have been public in the scene for close to ten years. I am serious about Dominance and submission. It is not a role I play, but an integral part of who I am. As a result, simple boyfriend/girlfriend realtionships without power exchange are unfulfilling to me. I am not domineering. I am giving, caring, loving... but I must be in a relationship with a woman who, while being self confident, self sufficient and self supporting, can see in me something that gives her the confidence to surrender herself to me... and only to me. I don't want someone who would bend her knee to anyone. I don't want someone who will necessarily bend her knee to ANYONE... anyone but me.

I admire intelligence, confidence, sensuality that is not overt, a woman willing to experiment and explore. I prefer a woman of cultural diversity, open minded and open hearted. Passion, compassion, empathy are all admirable and desirable qualities. She doesn't see the word "obey" as a dirty four letter word. She is a lady in the boardroom AND the bedroom, but that doesn't make her a prude. BDSM is a part of who she is but not the only part, not the most important part. She is fully developed as a human being, active in the community, a student of life.

I have been a police officer and EMS supervisor. I have saved lives. I have responded to Ground Zero and Hurricane Katrina. I have been active in the BDSM community as a board member of several BDSM education and social groups. I have also been active in social activism and political activism. I am empathetic and sensitive, yet strong and opinionated.... and a bit wordy!
