Subspace

I have experienced it once. Every other time that I came close to slipping into subspace, the dom would break my focus by asking me a question of "Are you alright?" 

Yes, I am alright. I don't respond the way that I was, I simply don't respond to anything you do to me. I know that you are doing it but I don't feel it. Kinda like looking at the person being whipped, you know its happening but you don't actually feel it yourself. Yet, when my focus is broken, all of the pain from what you did hits me at once. I cry and want to be held to know that you still care. 

I listen to people talk about subspace like its a mystery or something that doesn't exist. I have only one thing to say to that, you have never experienced anything to push you to that point. So how can you say if its real or not?
