What do you do when you see a friend self-destruct over another friend? I worry about a lot of people, and I keep 'eyes' on a great deal of them, but it's really difficult when one of my really good friends doesn't listen to advice that is coming from a decent person.

Though, he still has a lot to learn when it comes to listening to women.

Some rules all men should know.

#1 - When in an argument with a woman, look for any excuse to end it. You're gonna lose. If she loses the arguement, you're gonna lose. Try to end the topic, take a five-minute break, and then come back to it.? Go to the bathroom, anything that you can do. If you don't, you're gonna be in worse shit than ever.

#2 - Never fight over IM's. You can't read emotions, see people's eyes, and the whole contact points are lost completely. Personalities make up so much of person, and face-to-face works a heck of a lot better than behind a computer where you can hide or simple 'hang up the phone' or 'block who you're talking to'. It's immature and shouldn't happen.

#3 - When a woman asks you to stop talking about it, stop. Don't argue, don't ask to continue to make your point. If she says yes, don't let yourself be dragged into it. It's a tactic that women have. it's called letting you have enough rope to hang yourself.

#4 - Never offer a woman $$$ for her time. Makes her feel like a whore. If she complains about lack of money, or problems with time off, do something that doesn't involve money, offer to do a picnic. Meet her half-way.

#5 - Never, never come between a guardian and whom they're healing. You're gonna lose. The guardian/healer personae is a caregiver. If you complain about who they're giving care to, or complain about the lack of time, you're gonna lose. They're in it because that's who they are. if you can't handle it, then you should get out.
