We have power finally!!! Master and I survived Hurricane Ike. I ran around the house turning on lights just because I could and blowing them kisses. I've been inspired today to write something in my journal... though I have no clue at the moment what thoughts are going to spew out of my head and into this entry but I do hope it is something amusing.

Recently I've been taking an interest in reading everyone's profile Dom/me, sub/slave and I have come across many good descriptions of what a Master should be. I?ve also been taking a greater interest in the forums. I have found several great quotes and many great thoughts about what a Master should be, and what submission & slavery means to others. One topic that I think every sub/slave wannabe should take a look at in the forums is ?What do you consider the benefits of slavery are??

The answer, in our estimation, is to have the right criteria to start with. In our introductory letter we try to cover most of those criteria?s. So if you read the letter, and don?t find anything you like, you can move on, or just be our friend. Polite slaves send us a ?thank you, but no thank you? letter. When we get those, we always try to send back a ?thank you for being respectful? letter. Sometimes I don't use our introductory letter. I'll sometimes write this beautiful letter, personally tailored to a sub/slave?s profile, which takes me a good 20 minutes to write, and than I never hear back from the sub/slave. Which is really annoying, frustrating and time consuming. More than once on this website I have felt like I?ve finally found the perfect sub/slave for Master and I. So I write another kind of personal letter, and hope, to at least get a ?I read your thoughtful letter, but no thank you? letter. Instead we only hear no response from them, either. It?s really frustrating. In their defense, we figure, they have so many letters, that my beautiful letter just gets deleted. That is why we send out our introductory letter many times. I still don?t see how my beautiful, personal message was ignored, since we had so much in common, in my mind. Master says this is a numbers game those who are seen by the most get the best. I still don?t understand, can?t they see that by just seeing my name, that I am the one for them? When I first started I was very nice, polite and respectful in my reply to a Dom/me, if they were polite to me. In the beginning, when I was looking for a Dom/me, my own outlook was, if a Dom/me messaged me and immediately started barking orders at me I'd laugh at them. I would then tell them where to go. I didn't know them, and I didn't care about what they wanted...I didn?t want to be ordered around from the get go by anybody. I didn't think those kind of Dom/me?s had my best interest at heart. That is what I thought until I met Sir Rand, he taught me how to judge what a good Dom/me should act like. With Sir Rand?s help and guidance, I realized that the Dom/me wannabes just wanted a free fuck, with no responsibility for the care and feeding of their slaves. They were only thinking with their crotch. After meeting Master I came to the mind set that a true slave only cares about what his/her Master/Mistress wants, and a subs/slaves needs, wants and desires don?t count. To get to that mind-set, you have to trust and believe your Master will protect and care for you always even though you are property. Only a fool doesn?t take care of their property. You don?t want a fool for a Master/Mistress. You are just property, but you are their property, and how well they take care of their property, is the only criteria you need to know. Just by saying hello doesn't make me your Mistress or you my sub/slave. You still aren?t my sub/slave if you have just one conversation (I'll refer to this as the doormat issue) or 10-20 conversations with a Master/Mistress. So don?t fear interaction but don?t make hasty commitments, either. Going back to my point about just saying hello and not being my slave. If you send me one Message it doesn't make me your Mistress and it doesn't make you my slave. You have to earn it by proving yourself. Master and I are looking for a couple of true service oriented slaves. Slaves that love to serve and aren't into this because it is just some fantasy, and after a good cum and the light of day, it is over. We take a long time before we invite a sub/slave wannabe into our home. A relationship of some sort needs to be established. Why would you serve someone you don't care about? It surely wouldn?t make any sense to me to do that. Master says self-destructive painsluts do it all the time. We do not judge those that need that kind of Master, but Master says painsluts take up a lot of his time. So, if that is what you need, then bring more then need to the table. Well its a new year woo hoo!!! Master and I offically had our first year anniversary. YIPPIE! Currently Master's daughter and grandchildren are over so most likely neither one of us will be answering any e-mails.

Well its official...
