In my opinion it is insulting to give tribute, it leads one to believe their sub does not believe the Dominant is able to take care of themselves. I am a strong firm believer in independence. (Outside of BDSM of course.) I work hard for what I have which isn't much I'll admit, but I'll be damned if I am going to let my sub (when I find him/her) give me money and give them a sense that they need to support ME. That is what I am for, support. (NOT IN THE FINANCIAL SENSE)..It is crucial for me to have a motivated sub who is actually interested in the success of their own future and independence themselves.
Someone who needs to be supported financially to feed and clothe themselves is a child, not a submissive/slave/pet/little one/sissy, not a Domme/Dominant, not an Owner, not a Mommy/Daddy, and DAMN sure well no Mistress or MasterThe source of my Dominance comes from my overwhelming urge to protect and cherish, even love..(but in OUR sense of the word) My NEED to keep precious things safe IS the heart of it all though.
But when it comes to accepting tribute shows that the Domme is lazy, and makes me question true motives..If the sub sent money for things she wanted me to use on her that's another thing, considering all of my current income goes directly to my living expenses....Toys and rope can get expensive..but generally and overall...If my Dominance over you gives you the urge to give me money all you have to do is SAY SO and it is just as good in my eyes. Keep your money for the progression of your own life...success is the sexiest thing in the world!
