About PenitentJezebel
I'm a recent college graduate who is still trying to iron out those lifetime career goals. I just accepted a position with a local company, but I'm not sure it's what I want to do for the rest of my life. I've been considering graduate school for a Ph.D. in Social Psychology, but whether that will amount to more than pure fantasy still remains to be seen.
Currently I'm enjoying what Columbus has to offer: good food, good friends, and an amazing kink population. Over the past six months, I've become quite active in the local BDSM community, and this experience has been both wonderful and enlightening. I find I've grown in immeasurable ways; I have a deeper appreciation of my own limits and interests, which keep growing by the day. And I have a more solid understanding of what I want from a D/s relationship.
I consider myself a submissive, though I use the title lightly. I have a natural deference for authority (and those that exude it), but I tend to leave formalities on the scene floor. While I love to be guided and ordered (or just downright forced) in play, I don't care for my partners arranging my life. I am, after all, my own person: an intelligent, relatively level-headed adult who can manage her own decisions. I do, however, always appreciate advice.
I've been exploring polyamory recently, and while I've not entirely embraced it yet, I do enjoy its many perks. I'm not in a primary relationship right now, though it is something I am open to, as well as monogamy. In terms of companions, I consider compatibility most important. This includes interests from both the kink and vanilla realms. Too often I've had partners who were ideal in one and poorly matched in the other. And in the end, it always failed.
While brief, I think this pretty well sums me up. I won't go into the laundry list of likes and dislikes here. It's better left for private conversation anyway.
