About nyctartan
I am new to "labeling," rather identifying myself as part of this world. I've been practicing elements of being a Dom in my relationships over the last 15+ years, not even consciously. Simply because that's where my tastes and preferences lie. I've only recently learned that because I was hardwired this way it places me firmly in this world. I was ignorant to the true nature of the lifestyle and it's been somewhat of an awakening. It's like building houses for 15 years only to wake up one day and realize you're a carpenter. That may be a terrible analogy but it's appropriate.
Although I am a Dom, I do have varying tastes. Some is generally regarded as being on the sub side of life. Body worship, blindfolds, that sorta thing. I don't know, maybe that makes me a switch. I am comfortable with who I am and what I like & hope that you are too. I enjoy healthy, passionate & kinky sex. A lot.
I realize that many of you on here are only interested in seasoned individuals. I'm not a seasoned Dom. I hope that some of you even appreciate that fact. It's like I'm approaching this with a clean slate. Learning & growing together should be looked at as a positive thing rather then a hindrance on the relationship. The pay off is a healthy, positive, strong & secure relationship where you know each others in and outs on a level most never get to experience. If that's a bad thing I must be missing it.
I'm a freak. Dom, fetishist, and probably a few other labels you could throw on there. I realize this and don't expect anyone to have as many kinky ticks as I do. That shouldn't be a deal breaker. Trust is everything. Ideally I'd like to meet that special sub/switch that would like to pursue a more serious relationship. Being so new to this I understand that may take a while. My only deal breaker~I don't do the polyamorous/cuckold relationships. At least not if it's going to be considered a "serious" relationship. I can't love someone and share them. I'm not possessive, just a little vanilla in that respect. I understand that may be your thing but if I'm going to be in a serious relationship with you, I can't be a part of it. It's my Kryptonite so to speak.
I'm a semi-normal guy and live a simple life. I don't have any major hang ups & love folks from all walks of life. I only mention this because I don't want a 24/7 Dom/sub relationship. It's not that I care who knows, more of a time & a place thing. Mainly behind closed doors. I do enjoy elements of a "vanilla" relationship. Sex is great, so is love and intimacy. I'm very playful, at times goofy and have no time for bullshit games or drama induced headaches. Ideally, I just want to meet a female me!
