?Love is all there is. I live by those words. ?They are tattooed on both my body and my soul. ? The term "Unconditional Love" has always confused me. If there are conditions it's not love. The misuse and misunderstanding of Love has caused so much suffering and deep heart and soul wounds. There have been times in my life when I've felt the only thing keeping me together have been the scars from my many heart injuries. Our parents pass along to us not only their DNA but their own wounds. They can't give us what we yearn for as they never received it either. The power of choice is such a blessing. In every moment we get to choose love, compassion, being non-judgmental, freedom, ?or to experience blame, resentment, ?shame, guilt, and hurt. ?The lies we tell ourselves distract us from our own greatness. What lies are you telling yourself at this moment? We give our own meaning to every instant. We attract what we judge until we no longer judge and stop defining ourselves by our emotions. What will you choose today? ? One practice I've found helpful is this. Think of a person with whom you have unfinished business. This person can be anyone alive or dead. What is the one sentence you never heard them tell you or never heard it enough from them. ? Is is "I love you"? Is it "I'm so proud of the success you have made with your life"? Is it "I'm sorry that my own issues made me wound you with words of hurt"? Say the words you long to hear from them to your own heart. Feel the love that you can only give to your own heart. Love the dark places within you that so desperately need healing. Heal yourself with one "I love you" at a time. ? You will not get the validation you desire from others. Not because you are "Not Good Enough" but because their own unhealed wounds prevent them. Forgive them and forgive yourself. True forgiveness frees us all. Remember one positive memory with this person and hold it in your heart. If you can't remember any, use Love to create one to heal yourself. When you see the world wearing the "I'm not good enough" glasses then that is the energy and experiences you attract. What glasses are you wearing at this moment? You can choose a different pair that will give you clearer vision of unlimited beauty. Love brings up anything unlike itself in order to be healed. I love you, my cherished friend. Nothing you do or don't do will ever change my love for you. You can run to the end of the Universe, ?hide under a glacier of shame and guilt, and my love will still shine on you to melt your icy shell of ego protection and welcome you back to Love.

Words of Interest Words have such power to bless or curse, bring life or death, heal or wound. Words also have hidden meanings. Here are a few to ponder. EMOTION: E + Motion Energy in Motion Emotions can certainly flog us at time. Haven't we all been whipped with currents of feelings? I've found the best way for me is to just let the feeling flow and not dam it up so that it becomes a raging river damaging myself and others. Emotions are neither good or bad, they just ""are"" but we label them. Enjoy and accept what you are feeling BEAUTIFUL: Be You Too Full Do we not feel full when we see something we describe as beautiful? And is not everything beautiful when we really see it? Find the beauty in the ordinary and overlooked today. There is so much for you to experience that you pass by as we wander thru life with our eyes shut. COMPASSION: Compass + Passion The compass of your heart will lead you to passion if you will just follow where it points. We are never without direction, but we ignore so much out of fear. What we desire, desires us just as much. ADOLESCENCE: Addled Essence When puberty hits, our essence certainly gets addled! DISEASE: Dis + Ease When we speak negative words to ourselves, we disrespect our awesome beings. Life should be easy and fun and we make it so hard on ourselves and each other. Funhouse Mirrors When I was a child I loved to go to the state fair. We would enjoy looking at ourselves in the funhouse mirrors which gave us back such distorted crazy images. As I grew older, I discovered that most of us have never left the funhouse and have accepted the distortions as our true self. Mirrors lie! I stand off to the side and only see your true self, and what a wonder it is. I see beyond your broken humaness to your shining spirit that you keep trying to hide due to the shame and guilt you have decided to accept. You forged the chains of your own bondage, every link a lie you told yourself about yourself. Lay down all those burdens you shouldered but were never yours and dance with me in the heart of the Universe. We are waiting for you. How I see you matters. If I see you as human, captured by time, and so limited, how will our love last? If I see you as spirit, timeless and unlimited, how much love can we experience? I just see you as Love always and forever. I see the man you are, the man you wish you were, and the man you wish you were not. All are you and loved unconditionally. You are a better man than you know. We are made to feel shame and guilt so that we may be controlled by the ego of others. But when we realize that we were loved into existance and are nothing but love, then we see shame and guilt are habits we can change. I see you awakening into your power and joy. Know the deep truth about yourself-you have always been more than enough. Create the world in which you will live. The Universe stands in awe before you. A man who is in full possession of himself. What matters is how you love. You will not be remembered for anything but your love. The love you give is your true wealth. How wealthy are you today? I wish you love as far as your heart can see!
