Ok, I know my profile has been pretty vanilla but that has been to my hectic schedule right now. So here is some information that is pertinent to this site...

I possess a strong desire to eventually have a full-time live-in slave or sub, but I'm not specifically looking for that at this time (my philosophy is that if you're looking for something and don't find it you end up disappointed and settling for less than you want. However, if you're not searching for something and you find it, you end up pleasantly surprised and more grateful for what you have). The Master/slave or Dom/sub dynamic is also something that I don't want to rush into (I have?been burned by making?this mistake in the past and I do not wish to repeat that mistake). I want to take my time and be sure that we are the right fit for each other and that the relationship will last. I have several years of experience in the swinging lifestyle, so I am open to exploring this further (this is by no means a requirement). I am also interested in, and curious about, a polyamorous or polygamous situation or lifestyle (this also is by no means a requirement, simply a curiosity that I would only explore under the right circumstances).

As far as my beliefs, they are as follows; 1) Submission/servitude is a gift that requires a great deal of trust and?is given to the Dom/Master by the sub/slave. 2) The sub/slave maintains control of themself until that gift is earned and?given. 3) Being a Master/Dom has a great deal of responsibility which includes loving, guiding, teaching, protecting, and providing for the sub/slave at all times. 4) The Master/Dom should always praise and/or reward obedience (this serves to let the sub/slave know that they and their efforts are appreciated. It also increases obedience through operant conditioning.).5) Punishment is sometimes required, however, there are other, and sometimes more effective, forms of punishment than spanking or striking the sub/slave (it has been my experience that some subs/slaves actually enjoy this and disobey in an attempt to get it, and in these instances it stops being a punishment and becomes a reward the reinforces the disobedience). 6) True obedience does not come from fear of punishment, it only comes when the sub/slave has a true desire to please and serve their Dom/Master and are affraid of disappointing them. 7) A true slave has no self imposed limits, their only limits are the ones set by their Master because they have completely given themselves to their Master. Howerever, the Master must not abusethis power, and the Master must always?use common sense, discretion, and their knowledge of the slave when giving them commands.

I am a 34-year-old male living in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. I am a full-time single father with an 11-year-old son, and I am a full-time student at the U of I. After 12 years as a diesel mechanic, I decided that I was tired of being in pain & being exhausted every day. So I decided that it was time to go back school and get a degree. I spent 2 years at Kirkwood Community College where I earned a membership in Phi Theta Kappa (the international honor society for 2yr colleges) and graduated in July 2010 with an AA in Business Administration and a 3.790 gpa for 87 credit hours (so not to brag but I am a fairly intelligent and intellectual person, and I do believe in working hard as well as striving to do my best at any endeavor I am undertaking). I am currently U of I and am a triple major in Management, Marketing, & Russian. I am in the university honors program and taking honors courses in both disciplines. I received an invitation to join Beta Gamma Sigma (international honor society for business students, and invitations are only given to the top 10% of all business majors at each university). After completing my two Bachelor?s Degrees, I will be doing the MBA program at the U of I. When I?m not in class, taking care of my son, or doing homework (which isn?t very often) I like to watch movies & football (I order student season tickets and attend every home game regardless of the weather), go out once in a while, spend time outside, play cards, go to concerts, listen to music (music is a big part of my life and personality. Except for during football season I can go weeks without even turning my TV on but I cannot go even 1 day without my music), cuddle, etc. When I am all done with school I hope to be in charge of a Marketing Department or be in upper level management of either a Global Company or a Non-Profit organization. I have ADHD so things can get rather random with me sometimes.
