What does it mean to be a "nice girl", anyway?

Edited to add: I've gotten a LOT of responses, which surprises me, since I haven't even said anything of substance yet! So, umm, thanks for the welcome, really, truly...I'm not really very experienced at this (I've had one sexual partner to date, who got me into the scene), I won't lie, and I'm not hugely confident yet so if it takes me a day or two to respond to you please don't take it personally, I'm sorting through a lot of mail.
To be real, I'm 20 years old, and I don't know if I'm a nice girl or a good girl or what; people assume I'm not nice by looking at me, but I try to combat that with my actions. Here, my efforts revolve around being someone's girl. What they want me to be is where I'll start from. I just have to figure out where I'm comfortable and who will help me be the best possible person for them.
