Please, do not pay 'deposits' to strangers.
This profile has been set up to warn people about scammers who masquerade as professional dommes. Since setting it up, I've had messages from numerous users who have had a similar experience to me - that is, paying a 'deposit' for a session that never happens. Please don't be as stupid as I was - please don't make the same mistake. Fraudsters are very common on CM.
Until yesterday, I had never been asked for a deposit from a domme. If you feel a mistress who is asking for a deposit is real, please try to make sure she actually is real. I would suggest a mistress who asked for a deposit should at least have a well-established web site of her own, and would have reviews on various websites. Check her history. (How long has she been a member of CM?) If she doesn't have one, she shouldn't expect you to pay a deposit.
In particular, beware of 'pro dommes' asking for up-front payment who suggest that they should not be expected to have to prove that they are real, or who SHOUT at you, or who call you names, or who say that you MUST play by 'her' rules (i.e. don't object to paying an up-front deposit). These are all well-known and well-practised methods of fraudsters operating on CM trying to extract money from you for a service you will never get. I was fooled, and I now know that very many other users here have been similarly fooled. Learn from our lesson!
Scamming is far too easy (particularly if you have a couple of drinks inside you!).
Please, do not pay 'deposits' to strangers.
