In early May I was in a vehicle accident in which I broke my shoulder and some ribs. And so I am just now online, to discover how other things have changed here. It was not my intention to slight anyone, but in the end we must all deal with the hand dealt.  Anyway I’m back now and lets see if we can reconnect.

A question I just thought of. It applies to us all. How can we be feminine if not reared by women, to be a woman?

We demand ridigly defined areas of doubt and uncertanity.

When did common sense leave the human condition? When did simple questions fail the vocabulary. Why am I noticing this? Why can't I get a simple answer? Were subs 100 years ago smarter the those today?

Has anyone here asked themselves? “How long until I just don’t have what it takes to play anymore, to continue in this lifestyle?”  Oh, for the younger, tomorrow never comes. Well, the holidays are upon us and the vagaries of fate have thrust us into the divorce of our daughter and hosting family(most of whom are all so vanilla) through the holidays. So no gay apparel for the next few months for me, let alone visitors.

While I hope to sneak a peek here from time to time, no promises, but know it’s nothing about you and I will get back to you when I can. There are always ways, we’ve all snuck around out family, haven’t we??? But I can’t be very regular doing that.

So, is there anyone happy with the changes CM has made with the message tools? I for one liked that I could paste in from word with my font and style without further diddling to make it so. Playing with their new message system is not the diddling I want to play with.
Anyway, the last picture I just added is me in the patio of our new home.

Well a bit of an update for you all. The house is lovely but I can see I’m going to need servants to keep up with it all. Perhaps part time is good for now.

I’m much better now but my knee still feels like it is swollen and “clicks” as I walk. And for those of you who haven’t tried it, walking down stairs in heals is quite the experience! This is going to take practice!

Another tidbit. My ISP stopped accepting email alerts from CM about a week ago. This has happened before, there is a third party service that identifies “at risk” sites and I know my ISP uses them. SO, if you don’t receive notices of messages but have them when you log on to CM, what you have to do is notify the CM admin, identify your ISP to them, and it’s up to them to restore the service.

Well, it?s a good thing I don?t do planning for a living. Besides being injured as we unpacked, things are going to take a bit longer then I thought to get up and running.

Those of you with experience moving into older homes know what I mean. And we have so many cool things, like the pond and the waterfall. Let?s see, so far I?ve already broken the water main to the house, The electrical controls for the pond and the yard lighting. The upstairs bathroom toilet and the down stairs bathtub drain. But the koi are still thriving and we are now nursing a baby squirrel back to health. We named him Doug! He?s a rescue. One of his nest mates mistook his penis for one of their mom?s tits, and bit the end off! (And you thought your siblings were bad!) He?s so cute, and I?ll keep you posted.

Well as you can see we are busy, I will settle down to some regular online presence soon, I have such wonders to expose my playthings to now. And nooks for other things.

My office is finally set up, but hardly finished, not that such things are ever finished. But I wanted to take a moment to dress, relax, and enjoy my new domicile.

Well dears, Moving day is upon us. We?re moving to Orange Ca, to a virtual paradise in this concrete jungle we all live in here. So for the next few weeks I will be on a bit of a hiatus as we move in and set up household in our new home. Well all, the new house is ours and we?ll be moving the week of the 8^th. It?s not far, a little more room, and with a large yard, with many more places to play. OMG. I just had a part of my work carved out of my right ear as an infection. A mixture of my work and hearing protecting in my right ear left behind for a month or more.  More antibiotics. I haven?t had this since that fox tail 10 years ago in the reserves. I must be getting old! I so don?t want to get old.

I haven?t updated my journal in a while so here are some highlights. I have to say that house hunting in this economy is interesting. Even with the drop in prices, homes are still skyhigh priced where we are looking which makes things a bit frustrating, as are all the little ?side deals? that some are putting in their properties. But we are finding some we are willing to settle for in the price range we can afford. As you can imagine we have need of several extra rooms to meet our needs.

We?ve been looking down the cost, well down the coast relative to Yorba Linda, and $200,000 homes are still 500,000-600,000 now. Although in the inland empire (for those of you that know the region) they are going for 300,000 ? 400,000. But I?m an older bunny now and unwilling to brave the ?canyon?, and the extra two hours that means to my commute.

We?ve put in a few bids in the last few months, being as selective as I always tend to be, but it looks like at some point we?ll find a nice Suburban castle for our residence and continued amusement.

Elsewhere our daughter has become enguaged! No date set yet, but I wish them the best.

Gosh, I see ?tops? looking at me all the time. But I think tops have a problem contacting other tops, after all, it?s a bit out of character. I believe they are concerned, (funny for a top!) that contacting another top will be misconstrued. So dear fellow top, if you want to say hello, don?t worry, just say hi and be specific about why you wish to chat. Clearly we all have much to learn from one another. Back! Well, being on a cruise was an interesting experience. It was wonderful, the food, the waves, the ports, the glaciers, and the raw beauty of native Alaska.  

Anyway, Julie and I returned last evening and it?s been a restful day. All in all, the trip was splendid, and it looks like I gained 20 of the 15 pounds I lost back!

My second trip to my Doctor on the 17th, and a new round of hormones received towards my goal. A bit more emphasis on my breasts, a little less on full feminization, and a bit for clitty function! One visit that will last for another 3 months. Well worth the investment.

It?s amazing that such things can be selected for, but this is the 21^st century. I?m receiving pellets, inserted sub-dermaly, a nice smooth hormone level without those mood swings. Anyone wanting my doctors information need only ask. If only I had started sooner.

In the last three months I?ve been with two new subs, dianne and mary, I want to thank you both for the visits and the fun we had. And my special subs suzie and rachel, thank you for sticking with me. We?re all going to have some special times going forward. For those I?m working on, beware, I intend to trap you into this world, my world!

Well, I?ve started the journey. I?ve now been on HRT for 7 weeks, on a dose that is suppose to last 3 months, on a 3 year path to a new me. I?m under no illusions about the outcome, but something is better then nothing.

So far, finally, I?ve gotten some sensitivity in my nipples; it feels comforting when I go to bed, now I know something is really happening. And I?ve lost a little weight, necessary as HRT tends to add weight.

Now I have to say that the first LASER treatment of my face may have been less then advertized, but at my age there is a lot of grey, and that may take something else, but I?m told at least 4 treatments are needed for anyone. We?ll see. I?ll update this from time to time as changes warent.

Ah, but the real measure of commitment is when you see your Mistress just out of the hot tub, or in the morning and you have to service her. That is the difference between a ?want-to-be? and a real sub!

Who is up to that I ask? that is a real slave.

Well Ms Julie and I are back from our anniversary, I hope everyone?s weekend was a stunning as ours. Besides visits with old friends, we caught the Circ De Soleil show at the Ballagio and dear, that is a must see. Just as magical as their other shows and more. You can not do wrong seeing any of their show?s  Hon?s, ever, and this one doesn?t disappoint!

Well, 4 days to the weekend and the events at Dragons gate, and no subs are at that level where I?ll take them. You all are going to have to work harder dears. Well, that enough for now.

I just wanted everyone to know that Ms Julie and I will be going to Las Vegas this weekend to celebrate our first anniversary. On the one hand last year seemed so long, on the other it seems like we were just married a few weeks ago.

Well, where to start. In early December I had my gall bladder removed. Too bad it didn?t weigh about 35 pounds! The operation went well and being the top I am, I recovered well and was home that evening.  But being stabbed 4 times in the tummy does take awhile to heal.  That took a month or more.

Yes, there have been some changes to get used to, but I can eat Pizza again!  Incidentally, I?m told that pizza is the leading meal that brings gallbladder patients into emergency!  As we get older, and if it runs in your family, you might want to read up on it, so your doctor doesn?t confuse it with GERD, or some food allergy, in its early stages. It also helps to have a loving SO to take care of you, thank you Julie!

I?m doing quite well now and I can?t believe how much it affected me in so many ways over the last year and a half. Along with increased workload in 2008 to take my time away, I can see that it also affected me and my desire to play. I know it isn?t very toppy, but my apologies to those that feel I abandoned them.

Well hello everyone.

Well, it has been a while since I?ve talked to you all, and I think this is as good a vehicle to tell everyone what is up as any.   Thank you to all you that have been contacting me in this time. I do appreciate your interest. I hope you will understand why I have been a bit quite. But now I have something to tell.

I have been dealing with an on and off pain everywhere, and recently in my abdomen, and this pain has also gone to my back at my kidneys, right up to my shoulders on my back.  This week it reached a level even your Mistress couldn?t take and Ms Julie insisted I go to the hospital. That was this Thursday. How fortunate I am for having her to insist on such things, to take care of me as it were.

I guess it?s a good thing that I should have lived long enough to have such problems.  I?m sure some of you will understand that. OOHRA!

It turns out that I have as failing gall bladder, to many stones as it were, and we caught it in time to prevent something fatal!  So next week I am going for surgery to remove the offending tissue. If all goes well, I will return to announce that. If not, those of you so interested should contact Ms Julie ( NOKKERS) to find out what happened. But for now, I am reasonably confinement in my doctors and their conclusions. I should be back to more then normal by then end of December.

So, for all of you, you have made me so fulfilled, so aware of such  friends, thank you. So no matter what happens, remember, my friends I am so much richer for having known you, and this is the gift you give of your interest.  Keep that up, as we are all such an extended family.

MY, how dependant we are on our modern lifestyle. Around noon on Saturday we lost power at our house, along with 2000 other SCE subscribers. In 95+ degree heat, that was more then Mistress Carry could tolerate in full make-up and corsets.  SO I had to cancel a session with an old and dear sub and wait out the temperature changes. How did they do it in Tudor times!!?

As it turned out power wasn?t restored until 2AM or so, and I was asleep until 5AM anyway.  All in all it really messed up my Saturday, and is the reason I wasn?t around on line that evening.

I guess the lesson is that in the end we all have to be flexable and remember that we are all so lucky that such things are all so rare in our homeland. All in all, those folks looking after our power, water, and waist are pretty good at such things. They all deserve a good spanking and being forced to cum on their knees looking up at their Mistresses. Oh, I guess that won?t work for all, huh. But you get the idea. Let?s not take things for granted, for at any second, that might change. No matter what the media says, things are really good in LaLa land. .

Well happy new years all.  The lovely Julie is finally here with me, I brought her home on December 24^th. And for the last 3 weeks we shared in our mutual recovery from the worst flu we?ve had in years. Several that we know have come down with it and it just hangs on and on. But I?m felling much better now and this is really the first time I?ve really been in the mood to dress and visit my friends here on CM. So I?m back now and hopefully going to stay well for a few more years.

Hmmm? What to do with switches? Should I wait for them to contact me, or should I contact them? A dilemma. As a top I expect to be contacted first. But a switch has their top side and might well be waiting for first contact them selves. The result is no contact. Something I just noticed about collarme.  Once we log out, we can still show as "online" for up to 25 minuets.  So keep that in mind when you log off, someone might think they can mesage you even though you aren't there.

The closer they are to the top of the que the more likely they are to actually be on line, but as the reach the bottom, the more likely they are not.

This is something I think Collarme should fix, but until then, know you may show as on line for a long time after you log out.

I?m going to have to add a new rule. I see why so many here on collarme are adamant about ignoring one liners. When you message me this is not chat, but a formal discourse. As I said in my profile, I want to answer everyone, but some don?t seem to have grasped the notion that they are contacting a Mistress, and the respect that demands.  So, when you feel the need to message me here, I expect you to address me by name, include a picture or explain when you can?t on your first contact, and end your message with your name. It would also be helpful if you have actually read my profile and address those things therein that I am interested in. Then we can move on to you, ok?

I should mention that going forward it will be my practice to review and answer messages in the early evening most days. So you might not receive an answer until the next day, even if your message is shown as being read, ok?  It only means that I am paseing myself, you will know if you are being rejected, I won?t just leave you hanging dears.

 Well, here I am again; even Mistresses need to have some time off. Not that I haven?t been keeping an eye on my favorite site.  And those of you that figured out how to email me while my profile was inactive, I?m so flattered, although for personal reasons I haven?t replied to most of those yet.

 Now what might those personal reasons be? I took a little break both for some work reasons (Taking over from some lost personnel) and a little stint as a sub with a friend of mine for our mutual learning and benefit. (Not to mention a computer crash from which I could only recover a fraction of my correspondence and pictures.) I think it?s good to experience the ?other side? of BSDM from time to time to make sure as a Mistress; I?m staying well on this side of the top, as in ?over the top?.  Clearly my limits are beyond most of those I have met.  The trick is in assessing those limits and reaching them with a sub, something I have failed to do in the past.  But I have learned more about my Domme preferences and those I play with, as well as a few new things.

 Things I can?t wait to share with you, but only on weekends for awhile, except for a new twist I have mentioned in my updated profile.  Quite frankly my work tempo has been increasing since April and won?t subside until the middle of next year.  And a Mistress has to pay her bills you know, as do we all.  If only I can win the lotto!

For those of you that actually read one?s Journal, a bit of a heads up. I?m going to be talking a hiatus shortly beginning 5 March, until the end of May, about 60 days. In that time my profile will not be visible, but when I turn it back on I will have a Journal entry to explain why.

Just an update. I missed another sub this weekend, for an understandable reason, but I was so in the mood. I guess I?ve learned enough in the last 6 months to add a bit to my journal and own up to some of the limitations in me that have caused some problems with some of you.

First, I?m not a 24/7 domme, and can?t be as long as I have bills to pay. So I must restrict myself to weekends for our first meetings. And honestly, if I can?t be 24/7 then I really can?t help those of you for whom this is an immediate goal. I will try to be as flexible as I can with my time, and hope you can be too.

Secondly, I?m not going to go chasing you. I expect my subs to chase me. So if you haven?t heard from me in a while it?s up to you to connect. Once we have an established relationship, that will of course change, But until we meet, you are still the sub seeking my attention.

So, knowing this, That I can be high maintenance, do contact me. If not, then I do thank you for reading this far, and I do wish you the best of luck.

Happy New Year everyone, and thank you for such a great 2006 and I so look forward to a better 2007, don't you?

What I have learned in 2006 is that sometimes my heavy IRL lifestyle can be a problem, but a girl does have to pay her bills after all. And for those that this has been a problem for I do apoligize, but like you dear sub, I am not always the master of my own fate. Not until I win the lottery anyway!
