My words on "PRIDE."
In the shortest statement possible, nothing about my sexual attraction to men has brought me joy and gaiety. It is not something I am proud of nor is it something drawing shame. I have size 13 feet, I am not proud of those either. Using the term "GAY" to describe my attraction to men is such a misnomer it always makes my skin crawl, but collerspace gives me that and I use it. IF the attraction to the same sex had to be named after an emotion, (other than gaiety) lets just cut out the parade and why not call it "pride"? I would no longer be a gay man, I would be a PROUD man.
I am a proud man.
I am attracted to men, but terrible at being gay. I dont shop. I dislike most popular showtunes. I don't lisp. I honestly dont care what "sign" you are. I'm not telling you mine. I have a wife. She has slaveboys. She has a real vagina and uses it too. We have a husband. He has girlfriends. I have people. We do lunch. By gay standards, I suck at being gay.
In short, if you feel I am not "gay enough" for you, I will not be sad.
