About MasterGallad
About Me:
I am motivated heart and soul by my own spiritual development and the Master/slave dynamic in the lifestyle. I believe in the connectedness of all things, and find the beauty in life and all things. To me Mastery is a journey of discovery and something that I hope to attain yet complete Mastery of any one thing always eludes me so I can continue to grow and develop. My life has been full of wonder and wonderful people, the universe will provide me with the opportunities I need to develop and move forward.
Being a complete person is important to me so that I do not become one sided in any aspect of my life. I am a father, coworker, friend, cook, healer, educator, geek, biker, drummer, and Dominant. I enjoy finding the balance in my life and love to travel and explore new places, new experiences, new people, and new food. I am in enthralled with the wonder of it all, and to be a complete well rounded person is the noblest goal I can have.
Community Service:
2008 I was awarded the title of Great Lakes Leather Master, being a title holder allowed me to explore myself and find my own authenticity and to serve the Community and Great Lakes Region as I traveled across the country teaching at various BDSM / Leather Events. Former founder and co-chairman of the pan-sexual group, Windy City Masters and slaves together, which has now merged with the Greater Chicago MAsT Group allowed me to build a safe space for people to discuss relationship issues with D/s and M/s. As Regional Director MAsT Great lakes Region from 2008 through 2010 I helped others to develop their own MAsT Chapters and assisted where I could with education and formatting. Community Education:
I have taught at events across the country, Master slave Conference in Washington DC., COPE in Columbus OH, Beyond Leather in Fort Lauderdale, SinSations in Leather in Chicago, Kinky College in Chicago, Bondage Nights Chicago, Great Lakes Leather in Indianapolis, Indiana Masters and Slaves in Indianapolis, Madtown Kink Fest in Madison, Beat me in ST Louis, Spanks Giving in ST Louis, North West Leather Conference in San Jose.
Play and Kink:
Play and Kink to me is all about the spiritual connection to the person I play with; while most of my play is cathartic at other times it focuses on rough/forced sex and dominance. My play interests fall into the category of 'high impact', spanking, flogging, caning, rough body play, whips, fire play, temp piercing, and shibari.
Spirituality:
I am a shamanic practitioner focusing on the healing of the spiritual aspects of people, nature, and the world. While I must be conscious of how I interact with the world and others around me I must also not hinder or be an obstacle to another’s growth or development. I find peace and acceptance in my heart for others without judgment, and know that the true path to growth is through peace and love in your heart for all beings and the earth. |
