The mood to write about myself is rare but today seems to be the day. I will start with a little about myself and then more about what I am looking for:

I am 40 years old and divorced, with no kids. I am self employed and have a hobby (addiction) that takes a lot of my summer free time. I was married for 9 years to a "Vanilla" wife. During that time I tried to ignore who I am, tried to get her into the "lifestyle" and then tried to get myself out of it... in the end I have realized that we are who we are and all I managed to do was make myself, and someone else, more miserable. Other factors were involved in the divorce but that is another subject...

If you would have asked me about internet "dating" site's or other services 10 years ago I would have told you no way that I would ever use one...Once again I was wrong about that one...lol. I am not sure about this but I know for me that this site, Alt and others remove a little of the pressure that being single, older and into the "lifestyle”, (I hate that term, but it works), presents. I have dated a couple of women since my divorce that have offered a lot of the qualities that I am looking for. Unfortunately none of them have had ANY interest in BDSM, or the lifestyle. Sadly that ended that, both times, and made me reconsider this approach. I do not enjoy that so many on these site's are fake or just playing, but there seems to be enough genuine people to keep trying....

As for what I am looking for....that is not so easy. I would love to tell you that I am a full time Dom, but realities get in the way of that. The fact is I simply do not have the time necessary to provide the complete structure and dominance that some seek. I need someone who not only understands the lifestyle but also can manage the vanilla side of life as well. I struggle with it everyday so I know it is not easy. Part of me admires those who can be 24/7 but I am not one of them... at least not at this time.

Size is not all that important, but attitude, personality, appearance and class, or style is very important. My business' and my hobby (I crew on a NASCAR team) take a lot of time so independence and self confidence are BIG issues to me. "I am sorry the toilet's leaking but I am 1,000 miles away, what exactly do you want me to do at 2 am???? And no there are no girls in the room..lol" If you understand what I mean by that then we have hope.
