After some time, I have come to know myself a lot better and what I am looking for. I guess first off, I identify as demi-sexual. To me, this means that, above all else, I am looking for a personal connection with a person. Sure I can be physically attracted to someone, but that only leads to me wondering what they are like as a person. Sexual attraction comes through familiarity for me, with the occasional autonomic response. All that said, I lean towards being a friend before anything else.
My friends are the most important people to me. I may not always convey it, and whether they know it or not, they are. If I consider you a friend, I will always be there, no matter our circumstances (with a few exceptions).
Honestly, I am a slow starter and do not jump readily into familiarity. I will take my time and figure out how I feel, which, I’m sure, will take longer than most are used to. If you’re patient, I’m sure the wait is worth it.
I am a switch with submissive tendencies, but it all depends on our relationship. I tend to be fairly picky about who I play with, familiarity usually being key. I am taking this journey as it comes, being open to all possibilities.
