i sit here in front of this infernal screen typing with a cup of scotch chilling besides me. so lost in the distance, the time, the loss. Though it is but time that in itself is ever changing with variable speeds where a moment between moments has taken a life time from me. So Jesus is really frustrated, so God turns to him and says he should go down to earth for a vacation. So he goes.He apears by a highway and gets a ride from a trucker.They go down the road a little and the trucker turns to jesus and says."Would you like a bottle of cold water its in the cooler?""why yes that would be nice" Says the Lord.They go down the road alittle further and the trucker asks."Would you like half a Tuna sandwich my wife made its very good?"Jesus thinks it over. "Thank you i am rather hungrey."They head further down the road till the trucker turns to him and asks."Would you like to smoke this joint i have, its really great shit?"Jesus thinks for a moment " Yeah why not i am on vacation."They smoke the joint passing it back and forth untill a moment of clarity strikes jesus and he turns to the trucker."Do you know who I am?, who i really am?"The trucker turns to him and says simply, "No""I am Jesus Christ, you Know the lord, son of God"The truckr gets a big smile on his face and says."oh yeah! I told you it was good stuff." |
