This is where I am suppose to impress people of whom I do not know with some charming, witty, or profound exposition that illustrates myself.
No.
I have had a life, both amazing and awful, both of my own doing.
I have been with others, both amazing and awful, that affected me deeply.
I have seen and done more than I can admit, but can, over time, share. I can do that.
I contend that I am worth getting to know.

At this stage in my life, I am looking for a long-term relationship.

Do NOT let someone else write your story.
In my journey I have come up with an interesting analogy, although I am not sure it is original:
My analogy
There’s a little bowl full of cool and delicious water. Many birds will go by that water to take a little sip. They drop a pebble in the bowl to raise the water to make it easier for them to drink. And then they fly away, but the pebble stays there. Eventually, the weight of all of those pebbles breaks the bowl. No single bird thinks they’re responsible because they only dropped a single pebble. So the bowl stays broken, and everyone goes thirsty.
