Tonight I finally got one of my inventions to work properly and clean correctly. There are a few little things that I still need to fix because it catches about one in a hundred. I'll get everything fixed with the next one then once I get that one all built I get to drive cross country to casinos. This way I'll get to add to my single dollar chip collection. |

So had to give up on the grants for now. I'm taking all my time and money and sicking it back into my inventions. I'm getting really close on one, I'm getting more parts in today so hopefully have it up and running then I have to re-buy everything and build another one without the mistakes. Wish me luck. Ok so it's going to take some time before I become a millionair, well longer then expected lol.
I had a meeting with one of the grant guys today and come to find out that I've been applying to the totally wrong places, but not all hope is lost. Some very producitive things came of the meeting today. He gave me the places I should be applying for and set me up with other poeple that could really help me along the way. So we'll see where things go from here but I do have a few new ideas in the works for patents and these one are fairly simple and targets casinos... Who knows maybe one day you'll see my idea next time you go to that fun place that usually ends up taking all of your money lol. |

Well 1 of 4 was turned down. It wasn't a really good chane that I was going to get that preticular one anyways. So now word is that I have to wait till October before I hear word on two of them that I think that I have a decfent shot at getting. Oh well still hoping to get atleast one of them. It's kinda putting my life on hold till I find out. |

One of four closes today so hopefully in 3 weeks I'll have one of the grants. If not, a second closes on Aug 28th so 3 weeks after that... Grrr so much money on the line and could do so many thing. Tonight applied for grant 4 and 5... These ones are a bit more feasible of getting. So I had to drop from 1.3 down to 1.1 ehhh but I think that I can deal with the 200,000 loss over the course of a year lol. |

So it's been a few days and my two new grants are finally up for consideration, 1.3 mill each. It would be so nice to get this and work for myself and be able to hire people to work for me lol. I have all positions filled but the secretary still... Oh well guess I'll find one if I get one of the two grants. |

So I just got back from my long trip to Vegas. Driving 48 hours in a U-Haul is not the ideal situation if you are planning on going to Vegas but it can be done. It's a very long story of all what happend but if you want to know e-mail me and I'll fill you in on all the details, including getting pulled over twice and being the causing a multi-car accident.
Side note - Leaving Vegas at 50 degress and wearing no coat to coming home to Michigan in 9 degree temps and over a foot of snow on the ground is a real shock to the system. |

Well good news! My proposal is finally atleast being read over by someone. Step in the right direction... but what sucks is that every day that I'm without it I'm ecentually losing roughly $95 a day, that's that's at 4.75% annually. More to come later. |

Ok so work tonight sucked balls, a lot more then usual. Granted there are a few at work that make it barable but tonight just wow. The sheer incompatance of there never cesses to amaze me what so ever. Tonight was the first night ever that I have ever walked off the job. I told my GM that I was leaving and he understood and let me go. If I was to stay there any long I would of blown up on about half the people there. There has never been a situation in my life as of yet to where I just didn't cared what happend next. It could of burned down, just shrg my shoulders and be on my way. The ignorance of that building never stops coming up with new ways of fucking up. I can't wait till i get my grant and be done with that hell hole. Speaking of which still hasn't been read yet and is still making me nervous every day checking the page to see if I have it or not. Blah that's all for now... |

Ok so every web page that I have read said that it takes 2, 3 months max to get the grant. Well seems the preticular one that I have applied for, well read for yourself - "Consideration for this usually takes up to six months of processing time"

I sent in my grant proposal today... $738,640 is the grand total. So now I get to play the waiting game. Suposedly it only will take 2-3 weeks for them to go over my pre-application and send it back to me and tell me what else that I need. Then once I get it back, fix what ever they want fixed and send it back to them again. Then once again another 2-3 weeks for then to approve or deny the grant to me. I really hope that I get this. Don't have to work for anyone else for awhile, get to work for myself, make my own hours lol work when I want. And I get to higher people too! Still looking for a secretary... $12 an hour or $480 a week salary. Send in your apps lol |

So the brand new MGM Grand opened last night in Detroit. It was suposped to be open at midnight but they started to let everone in at like 11:30pm. The new one is amazing, granted it has only a few things in it that doesn't belong to Detroit like there are 4 or 5 shops in there that are just nuts. $100,000+ rolex, $200,000 fur coats. Come on now who can really afford that in michigan with our fucked up govoner shutting down the state? But on the lighter side I got to berak in a brand new craps table lol. First one to through new dice, on new felt, on a new table, with brand new chips. I loved it lol and last night there were some unbelivable hot women there. I'm like who are you and where did you come from? You obviously arn't from around here lol I know that some were from Michigan but the sher number was just amazing. So all in all a good night even though I shouldn't of stayed till I had to be in class and just about falling asleep durring the lecture... |

And to think that the govermnet just gives away over 1 trillion a year in grants so the $600,000 that I'm asking for doesn't seem like much...
