I am just a guy who thankfully found his way to this life after spending way too many years in unfulfilling, personally taxing, vanilla relationships. More and more, it was feeling like the skin I was in most certainly belonged to someone else. I am by no means dumb, so after watching those years roll by, yearning for more but not always recognizing it, the slow study that lives within me realized that sometimes the secret to a happy ending is knowing when to roll the credits. I stopped, took about a decade worth of breaths, searched for the skin that was rightfully mine, and began this process of becoming me, good or bad, warts and all. If you dont like it, then Im sorry youre still in a place where it feels comfortable to pass judgement on others. I think Im going to stay here a good long while and, in the words of Jim Morrison, get my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames.
Status Quo is not appealing to me and was also a really shitty 70s band. I love new experiences and discovering new things. I get a kick out of helping others do the same. In only a brief time, this lifestyle has brought fulfilling experiences to more aspects of my life than I could have possibly imagined. For example, I dove in knowing next to nothing about woodworking and metal craft. I was a guy who owned a drill, level, stud finder, and hammer. I now know just slightly more than nothing and have a new hobby, some might call it an addiction, and an ever expanding shop where I make and occasionally sell bondage furniture, equipment, and accessories. These are the open doors in my life that simply werent present before. I like talking to people about anything to do with this lifestyle because it is always an opportunity to learn something new regardless of that individuals level of experience or my own. The smartest people in any field are the first to tell you they dont know everything and I know far less than that person.
