I was in my late teens the first time I tried my hand at Domination.  While power and control had resonated with me since childhood, it wasn't until much later that I discovered the term BDSM, and the concept of Female Domination.   

Those first scenes were entirely online.   

It seems a bit comical now.  The webcam I had at the time was complete garbage and his wasn't much better, the audio jumped and crackled, and the whole thing would crash at random times.  But I will never forget that submissive. Far older than me at the time, he was Italian with beautifully accented English, gorgeous dark eyes, and an earnest expression.  Our tools were simple... clothespins, simple cotton rope, postures and a great deal of focus on foot worship and my heels. Later I took my lessons learned and tried them on a English fellow, who begged in vain to put me on a plane to him.  Then there was the dark malaysian boy who preferred to receive his training through prose-like writing.   

There were many more, and I remember them all with a certain sort of fondness.   

When I found an outlet to pursue Domination in my real life relationships, my online interactions began to fade.  And when I found the real life scene and BDSM community, I ended any remaining online contacts that I had. 

Now that I am considering options for professional Domination, I have begun considering online training once again.  It is far easier to work in around my busy schedule, and accommodates the need for privacy and discretion stated by most of the individuals that have interest in furthering my goals.  It also does not require me to drive for over an hour to the nearest public dungeon, nor pay for access to more local semi-private dungeons.  My time and effort would need to be tributed, of course, but it seems a viable option.  

Where are all the 'real' Female Dominants?  The ones that don't require tribute?  Often called Lifestyle Dominants, these are the women that practice BDSM as part of their lives.  However, to meet a Lifestyle Dominant, as opposed to a Professional Dominant, you may need to be willing to become part of the Lifestyle yourself. 

Yes, I do practice BDSM as part of my lifestyle. There are individuals in my life that that submit to me in a non professional sense, simply for complementary enjoyment.

These individuals have chosen to be part of the community, go to the events, and participate in the Lifestyle themselves. That's where I meet my playthings, pets, and play partners as a Lifestyle Dominant. I didn't meet them online, I met them at dungeons and at BDSM conferences and various other events.  In order to know me as a Lifestyle Dominant, the submissive needs to be prepared to meet me in Lifestyle settings.  

Unfortunately, most people I run into in CM are not ready for that. They need private situations and closed doors.  They aren't ready for parties and munches and kinky events.  This individuals seek a Dominant that can accommodate their needs due to distance, time, shyness, or an extreme need for discretion.  For those people, they may find Professional Dominants to be the most accommodating option. 

I do appreciate the thought behind all the submissive gentleman that have contacted me about seeing me as a Lifestyle Dominant.  They have offered their submission, their service, and their time, and for that I thank them.

However, the problem is that most want to offer their service and their time on their terms.  Their schedule, their location, their comfort zone, their need for privacy and discretion, their kinks. They want me to jump through their hoops to meet them, and have me do what they want done to them. 

For these individuals, a professional is really a better option.  Whether it is me or an established ProDomme, a professional can be more accommodating both in terms of schedule and activity.
