It's been about six month since I was introduced to the BDSM lifestyle. ?One of the first things that someone in the lifestyle told was to "never say never because that only means you'll be doing it in six months." I don't think truer words have ever been spoken.

My interest in BDSM and my desire for kink began as an intense desire for more. After saying good-bye to a 20 year marriage, I decided that I wanted to also say good-bye to boring. I was searching for something--what it was, I didn't have a clue. That was the beginning of my journey...and in six short months, my life has changed in so many ways. I've made mistakes. People have come into my life and exited just as quickly. But I've also made some amazing friends in the local community and beyond. I've experienced things that I'd never heard of just six months ago. I've experienced what it means to trust someone completely without hesitation (fire and knives will do that). I've learned that true beauty comes from a heart of love and sexiness from self-confidence.

I have come to believe that I can still be submissive/slave/baby girl and self-confident. Being submissive is within my very core. It's not that I'm weak. On the contrary, I'm a very strong woman who needs someone stronger for balance. I'm a natural born nurturer. I take care of people and of things. It's just who I am. I feel an amazing freedom in submission. ?I use the term submission, but in truth, with the right person, I have the heart of a slave. ?Trust is key for me. ?With complete trust, my limits are very few.

What do I want now: To continue to learn, to experience life to the fullest, to explore fantasies and be open to new, unknown experiences, to be true to myself, and to make new friends, both male and female.
