About GentlemanInCharge3

My macbook died, taking with it all my logins for everywhere, 2TB of music ... gggrrr. Then this site refuses to accept my new account password! so now I have to create a whole THIRD account ... aaarrrggghhh!!!

So ...

<p "pdq2pg_selectionanchorcontainer"="" data-start="459" data-end="555" style="font-family: Arial, Geneva, Arial, sans-serif;">I've reached an age where I no longer feel the need to pretend to be anything other than myself.

I'm sixty, medically retired, a music journalist, radio presenter, photographer, writer and incurable enthusiast. If I'm not interviewing musicians, you'll probably find me writing my memoir, admiring classic cars, walking my dogs, or disappearing down yet another musical rabbit hole. I live by the coast, and you'll often find me wandering down to the sea simply because it makes life feel a little calmer.

I describe myself as a Dominant, but not because I believe dominance is about barking orders or collecting titles. To me, it's about trust, responsibility, laughter, protection and building something that belongs uniquely to two people. If you're looking for someone who expects to be called "Sir" within five minutes of saying hello, I'm definitely not your man. Respect is earned, never demanded.

Connection has always mattered far more to me than kink. The strongest relationships I've ever had began with conversation, shared laughter and genuine curiosity about each other. I have absolutely no interest in rushing intimacy. If we're going to explore that side of life together, I'd like us to become friends first, partners second, and everything else will follow naturally.

I'm an incurable romantic hidden beneath a beard, an extensive rock music collection and a slightly sarcastic sense of humour. Friends would probably describe me as thoughtful, loyal and occasionally ridiculous. They'll also tell you I have an unfortunate habit of rescuing old dogs, falling in love with classic Volkswagens and Jaguars, and getting absurdly excited by an unexpected conversation about Gerry Anderson, Judie Tzuke or progressive rock.

Life has taught me that honesty is infinitely kinder than silence. Kindness costs nothing. Humour gets us through almost everything. Loyalty matters. So does emotional intelligence. I admire people who can laugh at themselves, admit when they're wrong, and still retain a sense of wonder about the world.

I'm looking for a genuine, long-term relationship with someone who understands that the strongest dynamics are built outside the bedroom. Someone who enjoys conversation as much as cuddles, who believes trust is sexy, and who would rather spend an evening putting the world to rights over a meal than trying to impress strangers.

If you happen to love dogs, live music, the seaside, old cars, cups of tea, deep conversations and the occasional wonderfully daft adventure, we're already off to a promising start.

One final thing.

Please don't try to become the person you think I want.

I'd much rather meet the person you really are.

A quick public service announcement...?emoji

To the gentlemen who continue to view and message me:

Thank you for the interest, but I'm heterosexual and I'm only looking to meet women. This isn't a challenge, a negotiation, or an invitation to persuade me otherwise.

If my profile says I'm looking for women, it genuinely does mean... I'm looking for women.

I'm flattered that some of you think persistence is admirable, but in this particular case it's about as effective as trying to sell steak to a vegan.

So, let's save us both some time. I wish you every success in finding someone who's looking for exactly what you have to offer, but that person isn't me.

Now, ladies... where were we??emoji
