Be true to yourself. Giving yourself to another should not mean losing your sense of values.  If you are asked to change your sense of right and wrong then something may be seriously wrong with the relationship. Yes, soft limits are made to be pushed. And maybe somewhere down the road hard limits should be looked at and re-evaluated to determine if the hard limit has changed to a soft limit...but it should never be demanded that a hard limit  no longer be a hard limit. Just to be clear, this is not happening to me, but there are too many of my friends it is happening to and that is the reason for this journal entry.
