I'm kind of quiet at first but when i get to know S/someone better I get more talkative. Part of the reason is that i feel that typical small talk (you know talking about things like the weather or talking about the local sports teams etc) has little substance and is boring. The better i know Y/you, the more topics i will be be to talk about.
i can have a very dry sense of humor and be very sarcastic at times.
One of my best qualities is that i can learn to do new tasks very quickly and i tend to not be satisfied unless the P/person i'm doing the task for is satisfied.
my best qualities in general are honesty (though with me apparently its a double edged blunt sword) , being trustworthy, and being loyal. i'm not the kind of person who goes around gossiping or talking about people behind their backs nor do i tell other P/people's secrets if i'm confided in. In terms of loyalty, if i am currently playing with or serving a Mistress/Domme, i would not play with another person without said Mistress/Domme's approval (said to me as i would want to hear it). In general though, i am extremely loyal to my friends and will do what i can to help them when they needed.
i have a hard time breaking the ice for a conversation but i want to meet new people, make new friends, have interesting and educational conversations with other people which is why i've started going back out to various munches.
One thing i do know is that i need BDSM in my life. If i want to be happy, BDSM has to be a part of my life. At this point there are just so many things to try and experience, so many things to learn, and so many like minded people to talk to (though i really doubt i'd reach point where everything is just old hat).
i know that communication is key to the lifestyle and i am currently trying to work on my communication of my wants and needs out of a relationship so i may not know exactly what I want at this moment in time but i am very willing to explore the various possibilities that occur in this lifestyle. This is definitely more than just a bedroom thing for me. As a person, i work better with following directions and a P/person taking charge of the situation.
My long term goals are to find a Mistress that i will be able to serve 100% with all my heart since i've grown dedicated to the person that they are and not just because they happen to be a Domme. Being a Domme is not enough, if we can't communicate comfortably in situations outside of being a Domme/sub then i don't think it would work long term.
i might be being picky when it comes to what Mistress i am serving, but i don't want to feel like i'm being used only because I can accomplish X particular task or that i could provide some material or monetary gift. i would like to serve a Mistress that actually likes who i am as a person outside of what i do in the lifestyle.
My short term goals:
Find people i can discuss BDSM topics with
Find a play partner
Long term:
If i'm lucky, maybe i can find someone to enter a relationship with (a Mistress that i can serve) and who knows from there. i would prefer a lifelong relationship but that isn't guaranteed.
