Rejoining after a long, long, long sabbatical. Not sure I am ready to be here but thinking it might be nice to exchange some thoughts and ideas and allow me to reassess my place in a Ds relationship.
I am a submissive man who was in a long-term, monogamous, but part time Ds relationship for over 3 years. It was rocky with ups and downs but amazing and real. I found it difficult, however, to balance the love relationship with the Ds. I needed respect, consistency and love which i was not able to demand due to my role and i wound up acting out and being a poor submissive at times. Still, i loved Her and wish i was able to find a fit.
I suspect that like Vanilla relationships Ds also have an array of people and as a result i am here looking primarily to explore thoughts and ideas as to how Ds works in a every day life.i also know that i want to bein a relationship but have foundrealized that a vanilla dynamic will no longer work for me. i am submissive by nature and am no longer physically drawn to a Woman that is not Dominant and who does not wish to own and control me.
Wwe thought that my submission was derived from my childhood number one where i had a relatively strong willed mother and my sexuality number two where i am very much guided by my physical excitement. This was something that my last relationship centered on for a long time... keeping me in a constant state of arousal in order to gain greater control and to encouragecoercetrain me to be a better slave.
