It's nice to see a lot of people who originally listed their location as "U."K" finally replacing it with a definite place.

It saves so much time in connecting with somebody (unless you state you are into cyber stuff only).

Why (if they've just put they're located in the U.K) do people get annoyed when they discover you're the perfect match but live three hundred miles away and can't (or simply don't want to) travel?

I don't understand why some people on here either;

a) get a little huffy when you ask a few personal questions.

There has to be some knowledge - and therefore trust - of each other first. I'm definitely not an AWM*. Are you?

or

b) get a little huffy and disappear.

Does kind of sort out the fakes.

It's not a case of mistrust. Of course I want to know a little more about you and - I'd hope - you of me.

Saying all this though, there are still some nice, genuine people and friends on here.

If you take the trouble to delve a little deeper into their backgrounds, there are some amazing life-stories and experiences to hear.
