...And here I find myself in a very interesting position.
I'm fairly new to the BDSM scene, and I'd very much like to throw myself right into the middle of the fire. Obviously, I have little experience in the scene, though, I have spent a while as a casual observer.
Observation is great for science, but I feel the need to explore this part of my sexuality. Thoroughly.
I'm a San Francisco resident, disappointingly, not a native, but hey, I get mistaken for it, so that's good enough for me.
I'm also an erotic writer, but you might find my work to date a tad... Vanilla. I plan on changing that, too. Other than that, I write Science Fiction, Medeival and Modern Fantasy, as well as gritty urban short stories about broken individuals with wonderful abnormalities. If you care to do some reading, let me know.
I love Rave, Goth, and Moped culture. BDSM Culture is next on my list of experiences.
I'm very sex-positive, and extremely tolerant, with a high interest in Polyamory (though, I've never been in a polyamorous relationship). Blame California, that ain't changing.
I identify (if we must label) as Heteroflexible.
I'm also a Shameless Geek, Probably more shameless than geeky, and I enjoy running interactive stories of the RPG-type, involving dark subjects and adult themes. Come on, Roleplaying Games aren't just for kids, after all. Never tried? If you're a writer, you should be ashamed of yourself. It's a great way to get creative juices flowing.

First and foremost, experience. Like I said (many times) I'm new to the scene, and any orientation to get me started would be loved. I'm a very fast learner. I just need to get the right gears turning.
I'm looking for people in the Bay Area, to befriend and further my experience in BDSM. It would be perfect to find some (one/people) within the 7x7 City Limits. Makes things easier for everyone. I'm looking for a sub. Experience would be lovely, but I wouldn't mind blindly (and safely) clawing my way through new experiences with someone just as 'fresh' as I am. Safe and Sane are words I like very, very much.
Lastly, it's not the sex I'm looking for. I think we all know there are dozens upon dozens more websites for that. What I want is exposure to the culture, it's ins, outs, ups, downs, eccentricities and arts.
