After the end of a long term relationship (12 years) and a fairly long period of figuring out who I wanted to be after ending that relationship (2 years), I'm ready to start meeting people again. Romance? perhaps. Friendship? Certainly!
I'm an avid reader, sometimes writer. I enjoy video games (particularly platformers), old-style p&p RPGs, scary movies, cooking, and music. My sense of humor has been described as quirky and dry. I work in a white-collar job that requires discretion. I have joint-custody of my child, and that also makes discretion a priority. I'm not h/w proportionate, but I'm working on it (even if I don't get there, I'll be a healthier person for the effort). My politics are very liberal and I'm not religious.
I'd like to meet more people, make some new friends, and perhaps find someone who can be more than a friend.

Chat is down, so I'll take some time to blather here. I proposed a topic in chat that was mostly dropped, but I'd like to explore further. What affect does a submissive's view of his/her Dominant have on the Dominant? For me, I've been lucky. They see me as better, stronger, smarter than I am, and in striving to be what they need, I find I am better, stronger, smarter than I thought I could be. It's an incredible gift to see myself in the eyes of a loving submissive, because it helps me become more of who I want to be. I'm honored.
