About DoubleHelix
So yet another repetitive blurb about Yours Truly on yet another deeply interesting site.. I had hardly any desire to be in the online 'scene' until I found a few of my friends were on, and after many reassurances of the decline of the lameness, I've decided to give it a try again. I frequent the public scene in Los Angeles and can be found often at Passive Arts studios or the Sanctuary. I have a huge fetish for all things bondage, and am good at both modeling and rigging. I know places and people in the LA area and would love to help some newbies crawl into this fun, spooky underbelly. I'm open to meeting all sorts of people! I love interacting and learning from people in all walks of life, and have extensive experience in parts of BDSM other than bondage, and am happy to give lessons, advice, or just listen. I'm not looking for anything in particular, but one thing I'm NOT interested in is fishing. I don't have time to sit and write a nice reply to every short email and picture I get, so unless I actually know you, or you're fantastically witty and interesting, it's unlikely you'll get a response. Not trying to be directly harsh, but I don't have a lot of time, either. I don't have the space, mental capacity, or resources to take on a full time partner/s.o., slave, etc., but I'm always looking for play partners. There's more, I could write chapters, oh I'm so interesting. *snicker* Ask if you wanna know. It's what I do. If I answer, don't feel special. Tee hee!
XOXO
Oh, and since people keep asking:
I am NOT up for collaring. I don't want to be anyone's full time slave. While I can appreciate and even admire that quality in the people around me, my personal views of myself disallow that. I'll never be tame enough, anyway :D And I have a 'boyfriend', so don't ask.
To get a better view of me and how I think, read my journal. None of it is really personal, but there are topics I've been inspired to write about. Some of them are just a mishmash of ideas, but I'm constantly outputting. If there's something you'd like advice on, or just want to hear me rant about, please ask!
Seriously, F/folks... I AM NOT UP FOR COLLARING. I AM NOT INTERESTED IN MOVING OUT OF STATE TO BE OWNED. I am a swinger, bisexual, poly, open heart-and-minded, and have NO compunctions about it. I happen to love me. If you want to rant at me because my freedom disgusts you, if you message me with any of the above mentioned intent, you will NOT, I repeat, NOT get a response. I'm here to make friends, and play partners. That's IT.
-WARNING- I Love! This means I form deep, lasting, loving relationships with ALL the people in my life. I am truly a lover, not a fighter. I do not tolerate cattiness, bitchiness, rudeness, lateness (unfashionable!), and people who hide behind judgment of others when they feel insecure. I am a swinger, and poly, and will NEVER limit myself to one person. I have a primary partner, he is ALL and EVERYTHING I ever wanted in a man and IF I WANTED to be a slave, I would be his. Please respect my limits and boundaries or expect no response.
Oh, and any friend requests without forming a rapport with me beforehand will be DENIED.

Beat me to a pulp, pierce me, bruise me, please!
As far as BDSM activities, there is little I don't enjoy. There are three hard limits I have: Dead things, children, and animals. Past that, I'll talk about it. Some of the limits I have (No tickling my soles, no punching my face, and I'll never shit or be shit on by anyone) are the result of me being a model, no face bruising, or a panic reaction when my feet are tickled. And I'm sorry all you copropheliacs out there, but it's just - poop disgusts me. Honestly, what I'll do in a scene and how intense I'll allow it to get in my OWN head directly corresponds with how intimate I am with the person I'm playing with. There are also two kinds of scene for me: The fun, lighthearted, "hey, we're both kinky and wanna have fun" play, and the "beat me until I break because my brain needs a rest" play. The former I will do in clubs, at home, wherever the mood suits if I have a good play parnter and I'm feeling it. The latter, the 'catharsis' style play, I only do in the comfort of my home or the home of my s.o's. (If you get to know me well enough, you'll know what that means.) I am heavily into pain. From a Dominant point of view, I have no time for subs that like to dictate the direction and particulars of a scene, and/or subs who can't handle what they sign up for. I am mostly a compassionate, 'pleasure' top, but if I'm in a mood, I need submissives that can take immense forms of bodily pain. I like trampling, kicking, punching. I'm a small woman, but I wrestle, and I'm very strong. From a submissive point of view, I've always had problems with this. I like to fight back, but I'm stronger than some of the Doms I like to play with :D To me as a sub, pain does not mean punishment. I like pain! Punishment, too, is not discipline. I'll go into that more later. I was trained at my very entry into the lifestyle, when I was living in the South, to directly associate pain and pleasure. Pulling my hair, slapping my face, canestrokes across my ass, kicking me, all of this is a turn-on. I get off on trying to say no, pretending to fight it. I don't get off giving myself to someone because I like the control, to me my submission is an issue of trust, which should be earned and sometimes even fought for. I submit to people I can trust to hurt me the way I need. Who I can trust to read my reactions and know when I need more pain, or some hugs. Who have experience, and who know me and why I need what I need. I can easily go very deep into an emotional release in an intense scene, but if my top, or anyone watching, isn't prepared for the outburst, it can be frightening. And likewise, one of the reasons I literally GRILL a sub before playing is because I want to know exactly what is going to happen in their head if we get intense. I absolutely HATE misinterpreting reactions, so I expect my submissives to be incredibly explicit when telling me what they feel. I would do the same thing. Safewords.. are important. If you're playing with someone who can read you like a book, someone you've been playing with for like five years, safewords can be overlooked. For light, prediscussed scenes this can also be true. However, this does NOT negate the importance of a safeword. Even if you have no safeword for scening, if you are in any kind of D/s relationship, you need a safeword. An 'equals now' word. This prevents miscommunication (the ultimate relationship adversary) from arising when someone is in top mode and the sub is in equals mode, or someone is in sub mode, and the top needs an equal point of view on a subject. Safewords only allow the roleplay to be broken. Saying a safeword is half the trouble. The other half arises in having a DAMN GOOD REASON. I will never call safeword unless I literally cannot physically take any more of what I'm being served. Or if injury is imminent. I always have the power, even in the deepest subspace, to say my safeword. Subs owe it to themselves to have that ability. They owe it to their tops next, for imagine the top who realises S/He's pushed beyond a sub's safe space and they called no safeword. What emotional pain that is! I might play rough, but underlying it all is the love and trust I have for all of the people I play with, top and bottom. I trust my subs to tell me what they feel, and I do the same for my tops. I expect my tops to honor my trust and do only that which I can handle, mentally, physically, AND emotionally. Subs AND tops should always feel comfortable in those three areas. If you're feeling out of whack mentally, emotionally, physically, or worse, all three, then you need to take a SERIOUS step back from your relationship and redefine it. It may not be what you think it is.

A response to a link sent that I want to remember. This just made me think. It's not supposed to position me on my beliefs, I just got inspired to rant.
/begins by comparing Christianity and Islam. So you have two
patriarchal religions, both monotheistic, both with the word of mouth
system for the holy writ, etc, etc. They are actually really similar. What
I feel is, what I see, what I've learned from reading and asking and
listening, Muslims do NOT think like we do. We, having CHRISTIAN
foundations to our very way of life, to our NATION founded by (Yo,)
Puritans and Calvinists, can hardly comprehend the way these people
reguard us. Taught from birth that females are inferior, to the point
of true objectification, and that if someone thinks differently that
you they should be feared. Yes, they see us as terrorists, as America
sees them, but when it crosses into religion, into that hazy
state/church line, that's where the difference is. These people hate
us so much, even to the very base of their religion, 'either you
convert, and are pure, or you're an infidel, and you die'. Christians
practice good will. We turn out the terrorists among us because we're
after the common good. The way Muslims see us, well, we don't deserve
shit. They'd rather sit in a puddle of their own terrorists than hand
them over to the very infidels they are trying to protect their own
religion from. Both sides are radical. There's so much swinging on
the pendulum that the midpoint gets lost in the extremity of the swing.
This shouldn't even be a problem. Both religions, (AND MIND YOU - this
whole thing is my opinion! I cite no resources and take all blame!) who
claim to be right, in doing so, are wrong. Any religion, a.k.a.
organized (and most often lucrative) mass of spiritualism that preaches
"be like us or (go to hell, die, be left behind, not be an alien)", is
wrong. ALL of that comes from the same thing as someone looking over the backyard fence at his neighbor and thinking...
"That guy.. he's not like me. he shouldn't be like that and I've got to fix it."
Islam,
the word, means "submission". That to me, draws the picture quite
clearly. Quoting Jesus, and Mohammad, Jesus said "Choose". Mohammad
said "Submit". Jesus was a carpenter, Muhammad was a pirate, a raider,
a rapist, and married a 6 year old. Didn't consummate till she was
nine, but hey. Still waited. I'm not saying he wasn't a good husband,
but he doesn't sound good. It's in the Koran, and the Bible. But, in my
honest opinion, I think both texts have been gone over enough times to
make a mess in any language you translate it into. And then you
cross the multi-century boundary of confusion into the
how-many-languages-has-this-cycled-through? area. It gets all gray. I
say - Leave debate to the experts after the initial ker-splosion and
give me some ice cream.
