I have been in the lifestyle long enough to weed out the bullshit. I don't believe that anyone can be self taught in this lifestyle. I believe that there is a wealth of knowledge and know how from those who have been there and done that. If you are fortunate to know one of those few who can truly call themselves Master or Mistress, consider yourself very lucky indeed. YOU ARE NOT a Master or Mistress simply because you got on line and put that title in front of your name. Respect, as is all things in life, is earned. Even though I am dominant, I have no problem using the words Sir and Ma'am to those who have laid the path. I have no need to lower anyone simply because I think I can. (Thank you Master Max for that one). I believe in Old Guard protocol.
