and so the story ends.... Saturday I caught the mother cat who had been dropping kittens at my back door. She had been pretty elusive, so I decided to try to befriend her. I would give her special treats to get her used to being around me. I set the trap and baited it with her watching. She was at a distance, but watching with curiosity. Once I moved away, she came to the trap and walked around smelling the piece of meat in the trap. I had placed several bite size pieces in the trap to get her interested. She managed to put her paw into the trap and rake out a piece, so I had to adjust the food's position with a long stick. Finally, she was not able to get the food from outside the trap. I watched from inside the house as she carefully crept into the cage and I am sure the smell of food over powered her. She stepped on the release plate and the trap set. Finally I had her! Since it was cool this weekend. I got her into the garage and managed to transfer her from the trap to a larger cage. I put in food and water, which she didn't touch until Sunday. After that, she ate what ever I put into hew bowl. Sunday night I had to stop feeding her because she was getting fixed Monday. Again, I carefully set the trap outside the cage's door. I blocked all of the areas she could escape. then I placed a cover over the trap exposing the end of the cage, so it looked like she was going into a higing place ot escaping. I got behind her and reached into the cage and touched her. She ran straight into the trap again tripping the plate and trapping her. The next morning, I took her to a vet where they spay feral cats for $20 including a rabies shot. When I picked her up the paperwork given to me stated that she was pregnant and the fetuses were aborted. A bittersweet experience, but sometimes it is best. |

OK, I caught 2 kittens and I am trying to tame them. It took 2 or 3 days before they got over being captive, and now they prefer the cage to getting out in the house. Toys, food and water, plus a cushy sleeping place, what more could they want? It is funny watching them play. They are pretty content, but they need a new home ASAP. |

So, Friday, 4 new kittens showed up. 2 were mostly black with white feet and white on the chest. One was solid black, and one was tri-colored. I now have 10 cats which is way too many for someone who doesn't like cats that much. |

Cat update. I am starting to see the female cat who I believe had kittens recently more often. I think she'll bring her kittens around soon. Now I have to decide what I will do if I catch them. I hope some other neighbor finds them before she brings them to my house.

OK, so I caught another male cat this week and had him fixed. That leaves the slut female who is roaming the neighborhood looking for a place to drop her litter of kittens. All attempts to catch her have failed. I have caught 2 possums and one of the fixed cats 2 times and another fixed cat once. The only good news is one of the males that appeared when the slut was in heat is an extremely mean and vicious cat. I have watched this young male take on cats 2 times his size and run them off. This cat has been trying to befriend the others who were established at my house. They all shun him and won't eat with him. However, when some other cat comes around, they are always behind him... about 10 feet behind him.

First of all, I am not a cat person, so it is ironic that I now tend to as many as 7 cats at a time. They are all feral, with the last one showing up when one of the original 6 went into heat. This last one I call Rocky. He has been nuetered (and I am still trying to catch the slut cat that was in heat). Rocky is a demon cat. No other cat will be around him for long. When Rocky eats, the others leave. To me, he hisses and paws at me when I put food out. I was hoping he'd run off the possum that eats late at night, but like the others, he sits and watches the possom clean up what they have left. A demon with a good left paw, but not stupid enough to attack the bigger possum.

I have come to the conclusion that a sub is only as good as her Dom makes her, and quite frankly, it appears there are some poor Doms out there. I know that is a broad statement, but I see too often subs become disillusioned with this lifestyle because of the pain caused by "the One".

Contrary to many sub's beliefs, I read profiles. I like to look at the likes, loves and dislikes, etc. I don't just give a profile a cursory read, I study it for similar interests. I also will respond to profiles I believe are well written and interesting even though I have no interest or I know they won't find an interest in me.

I have always considered myself to be reasonably intelligent, reasonably good looking, and reasonably Dominant. With so much reasonably right with me, I thought I had a reasonable shot at finding someone..
Yes I made a lot of friends. Yes I had opportunities at online relationships. Yes I met some subs in real life, but nothing reasonably worked out.
It is as much my fault as anyone else's, I am not trying to lay blame on anyone, but I have had some very frustrating relationships on CM. I never found that one sub whom I could trust and we both would procalim our exclusitivity to one another and the world.
