As to my thoughts, wishes, and experiences in BDsM, I’m very dominant in the bedroom (check out http://www.r351570r.com/Eaten.html for my style), although I’ve always found myself with a Princess sub (I've owned two thus far) who eventually has taken advantage of my generosity and mentoring and forgiveness without reciprocating. I’m very supportive and nurturing, with a very slight sadistic streak, but worship the female form in many ways.

The relationship between a D/s is an exchange of power, but one on many levels. While the sub frequently loses a certain amount of control, the Dom, on the whole, is restrained in his pleasure and whims by the satisfaction of those of the sub. In my opinion, the sub holds the true power by setting boundaries, while the Dom leads the exploration and limits of these pleasures, suggesting new ones to try and a structured approach to broadening sexuality without violating self-esteem. To humiliate the person you hold dearest may seem contradictory at first, but in reality, is just another way of displaying this devotion and adoration.

One of these days I’ll find a suitable sub, and collar her, and treat her like an empress while forcing her to experience pleasures and explore her potentials, both in the boudoir and without. I prefer to see a girl improving over time in all aspects of her life, as I intend on doing the same and a couple can’t grow at differing rates. I’m not too sure where I’d draw the line between sub and slave, and how much freedom I’d give her by removing the need to make decisions and feed, clothe, and entertain herself. I think that the relationship would be a covenant between two partners who are individually equal, but assume roles and responsibilities, control and power levels as part of that pact and exchange. I suppose that my definitions and perceptions of the dynamic are a bit different than those that are traditionally accepted, but this is how it’s worked out for me thus far and what I’ve observed. When the things I speak of don’t function, unhealthy relationships occur.

The highlight of my year thus far was attending the Ministry show with my little brother. I am proud to say that I'd surfed the mosh pit to So What in my teens, twenties, and now my early thirties. I'm a fan of goth/industrial, electronica, Psy/Goa, dirty electro, and a bit of metal (no big-hair bands, please) and alt rock. I still enjoy the clubs now and then, and love getting all evil on a dance floor, taking breaks here and there to make fun of the other patrons. I was the founder of Resistor, the Goa/Psy monthly rave on Toronto’s Queen West a few years back. It won various awards, saw tens of thousands of patrons during its run, spawned a record label and fostered a number of now-established producers and artists, and remains Toronto’s longest running Goa monthly. I still DJ the goth/DnB/Psy/Electro scenes now and again.
