The psychological aspects of D/s have always held the most appeal for me. I enjoy intelligent, articulate submissives who enjoy serving and pleasing, but who also know how to carry on a conversation. I find that once I am in a submissive's mind, that her body, her whole self, follows along quite naturally.
Imagine a submissive, blindfolded, gagged, bound spread-eagle, completely helpless and exposed. At this moment she is wonderfully vulnerable physically. Now imagine her mind and her very soul being in the same position, every desire and fear laid bare, every flaw and embarrassment visible, and all there to be explored and played with for the pleasure of her Dom.
These are the avenues along which my thoughts run.
