	I just moved to Phoenix. This profile probably needs an update but should be roughly accurate at least still. I enjoy being social and meeting new people and am seeking opportunities to do both. Also seeking play partners and a submissive and/or girlfriend, but I'm not in a hurry and am rather selective. Note that I'm perfectly happy dating both dominant and submissive women. Dominant/switch women who are bi and like to co-top are particularly fun from past experience. But I'm more interestied in the person than the role when it comes to such things. I'm an intelligent, confidant and naturally dominant individual. Being dominant does not mean I expect everyone (or really anyone) to bow down before me. I view people as equals until its been negotiated otherwise. I've been practicing BDSM for over 20 years. In the past I was actively involved with the kink/fetish/BDSM scene as a community leader, educator and event organizer/host. Moved to the Los Angeles area (San Fernando Valley) about 2 weeks ago. Love the house and the area. House is surprisingly large for California with lots of open space, hard wood floors, large bedroom, dedicated play room, hot tub and a pool. Really loving the house and the area is really nice too. Plus people seem more friendly and smile a more than I'm used to in Phoenix which is a bonus. Moving and unpacking is a giant pain in the ass and a huge amount of work though. I should hopefully having things mostly setup in another week or so.

Every time I read my own profile I realize how unsatisfactory it is. Just now I noticed that I went into some detail about how I view S&M, toys, etc. But I don't even really touch on D/s. I'm not even entirely happy with the S&M paragraph, it still leaves a lot to be desired.

Attempting to write a profile that is accurate and diverse, covers the most relevant topics while not being way too long is very difficult.

It surprises me how people conduct themselves.

Came across a profile of someone who just moved here a couple days ago and said she was looking forward to getting to know people here. I wrote her a brief message that basically said welcome to Phoenix, hope you have a good New Year (message was sent on the 31st) and if you have any questions about the local scene or whatever feel free to ask. I talk to people, answer questions and just engage in being social on here plenty so nothing unusual there.

I get a one sentence reply today stating that she is "too old for my group". Huh? Yes I associate a lot with TNG-AZ but that's not *my* group nor does it define or limit me. Espicialy when I'm just trying to be friendly. Sent a brief response basically saying that while TNG-AZ was age restricted there are other groups I belong to or am familiar with. To which she sends me a snarky single sentence reply and blocks me.

So much for trying to be friendly and helpful. Good luck getting to know people here, I think you may need it.

Seeking Models

Seeking a few good bottoms...

I'm going to be presenting/teaching flogging at TNG's 101 on the 19th. I believe the format is to have various stations that run throughout, so I'm likely to need a few bottoms to switch out. Teaching Shibari - rope bottoms needed

I've had someone referred to me that wants to learn Shibari. I'm taking her on as a student and we're going to be having hands-on sessions over the next few months starting with the basics and building up from there. She had a woman lined up to be the rope bottom who was a friend of hers and an acquaintance of mine. This would have been perfect because she (the bottom) had never tried anything kinky but was very, very interested. Unfortunately due to life events she won't be available for us to tie up. My student has a couple other female friends that may be interested which she's contacting, but probably no one who will be consistently available.

There is another friend of a friend who has also expressed interest in learning Shibari. I've informed him that I'm taking on my first Shibari student right now and don't feel comfortable taking on two students at the moment. We agreed to follow up in a couple months. Lastly a very good, mostly vanilla friend of mine out of the blue just told me he's interested in learning rope.

Not sure why I'm so popular, particularly in the Shibari teaching department at the moment. But, I do rather like this. I've always found that my personal skills improve sharply when I teach something, because I have to really focus on it. So I consider this to be a very good thing. I like teaching / mentoring.

Would you like to be tied up?
I'll likely be needing some rope bottoms over the next few months. Both to practice on for myself and to work with a student or two. Occasionally we'd like to have two bottoms present at the same time, so we can tie them up together or otherwise just be creative. The idea is to have fun and be educational.

Shibari & Rope Books
I haven't bought or kept up on Shibari or other rope bondage books for the last year or so. If you know of any good books on these subjects please send me a message as I'm planning to expand my collection.
