Hello,
Well, I have been on this site for awhile and with time each of us (hopefully) develops, grows, and learns. I am not the same man I was five years ago, good or bad.Some things about me certainly have not changed- I am still a very intelligent, caring, creative, strong, fair, patient, open-minded man. I still believe that a two-way relationship, meaning that you are not a passive lump of clay, will be richer and last longer than a one sided one but I would becurious if somebody wanted to prove me wrong. Though I am also definitely a liberal I am also sometimes old-fashioned to a small degree. i do not anger and think that anger is a loss of control. When somebody loses control they are simply an embarrassment and certainly cannot garner respect. I will never abuse my partner. Rough play is possible, and punishment, but not abuse. As an analogy, if you beat a dog all the loyalty you get from it is from fear. I do not want that. Loyalty from fear does not create a stable, respectfulor enduring environment .In my personal life, I balance being a single Dad and enjoy my career. Honesty and integrity are very serious things to me. I will sacrifice appropriately to uphold them.I have some I am not a lifelong practitioner of BDSM but I have a very creative mind and look at things more logically than emotionally ... meaning that I am open to exploring and am looking forward to trying new many things in the future. Relationship wise I am monogamous. I take my romantic relationships seriously and do not like to have my focus diluted.Though I define myself as a sensual Dom type man, and a protector and mentor above that, I find that now and again I am drawn to darkerharder play. It is not an inescapable pull, just something I am curious about and certainly ultimately do not need.So, who do I hope to find here? I am looking for somebody who can laugh at themselves every now and again and who is also able to forget the outside world and lose themselves in the peace of my arms. A mind is also fairly important.
